Double-check your spelling!

Hey, I installed the Democratic Party software, then uninstalled it after a while, and now I keep getting an error saying "macOS can't find pes6.exe, make sure you type the name correctly."
Does anyone have a fix for this? I have no clue why this keeps popping up after I already wiped the program from my system.

So, how did you go about uninstalling it? Did you just run it through the Control Panel, or did you try a "manual" removal? Either way, you might want to double-check under Add or Remove Programs to see if there are any leftover files lingering around that still need to be cleared out.

I wiped everything via the Control Panel, and now there’s absolutely nothing left.

Just grab CCleaner and run a quick registry cleanup...

I stripped the skin off it, scrubbed the registry, and specifically hunted down that one file—it’s gone. Yet, here we are. No matter how much I wipe the slate clean, it keeps popping back up like it's haunting me. It's clearly hiding somewhere deep in the system, resurfacing every single time.
