iCloud on iPhone

Hey there! I could use a little hand regarding my iPhone and iCloud storage
I was wondering—if I end up buying more iCloud space, will that actually free up room on the device itself?
Right now I’m stuck with just 16 GB of storage, so I can't really take any more photos or even update my apps.

$1400 with a case included

No, you’ll just end up paying for more iCloud storage to save your files; there isn't any way to actually increase the physical storage on your iPhone itself.
