I’m posting a message I received from velvettrucker52, and I’ve got a direct question for the admins:
WTF?? Since when does praising a post or picking out specific verses count as spamming?????????????????????? Is it because velvettrucker52 can't stand Joe, or who knows who else for that matter(!?) Why is she still being allowed to run wild on this site under the guise of being a moderator? I probably won't even get an answer, because the arbitrary behavior of the mods is just a hallmark of this entire platform. At least have the decency to be upfront about what you actually stand for...

Just to make things crystal clear—in case it hasn't sunk in by now—it would be highly beneficial to actually study concepts like symptoms, projections, and behavioral patterns within romantic relationships.
A symptom can be a useful signal—a wake-up call that someone needs to make some fundamental changes to their lifestyle. Melissa, if we’re using your particular terminology, a symptom is one thing, but projection is something else entirely. Projection is what happens when certain users on Reddit unsuccessfully try to pin their own traits onto the author, essentially creating a defense mechanism through fixation. See, projection is a psychological defense mechanism where the unconscious part of the ego takes over. It works by taking internal impulses and feelings that the individual finds unacceptable and attributing them to an external object. Once that happens, those feelings enter conscious awareness as a distorted perception of the outside world. While this mechanism is characteristic of psychotic states, projection shows up all the time in perfectly "normal" conditions and within neuroses as well.
Since we all tend to scratch exactly where it itches, maybe it’s time we mapped out our own little curves of personal values. It might be worth asking ourselves why we feel such an intense, desperate need to twist things that are staring us right in the face—things that just don't sit right with us for some reason. More often than not, the answers are buried right there in the discomfort, truths that our egos simply refuse to swallow. That’s exactly why we do it: we distort the truth, project our insecurities onto others, and deny the obvious just to keep our sense of self intact.

If they ever decided to make a movie about my life, I honestly don’t know if I’d even watch it. It would probably be one of those heavy, slow-burn dramas that leaves everyone in the theater feeling just as exhausted as I am. No Hollywood glamour, no sweeping soundtracks—just a gritty, unpolished look at the daily grind. Honestly, it might be better left unfilmed.
At least it's a strip.
If my life were turned into a comic book, I honestly don't even know where the artist would start. It wouldn’t be some polished superhero epic, either—it would be one of those gritty, messy indie graphic novels that makes you want to sigh deeply after every chapter. Just a series of chaotic panels filled with questionable decisions and endless loops of "why did I do that?" Honestly, the ink would probably run out halfway through just trying to keep up with the sheer amount of nonsense.
I know he’d just be one of those total pessimists.
I’ve got an incredible nose for certain things.
Dangerous nose (dangerous nose)
There are certain things in this world that just give me the absolute creeps.
I have just the remedy for your broken heart.
And I know your favorite line by heart, too.
Honestly, I know life better than any of you combined.
Yeah, clearly you all need someone that polite and soft-spoken.
Good grief, you people are absolute menaces.
Watch out, because once night falls, I’m coming for your marriages.
There’s a literal fire burning in your eyes.
Dangerous Flame
There’s a certain kind of fire burning in your eyes.
Oh, look at that—someone else's fruit. Honestly, you're the only real treat around here.
I see everything that...
Your husband clearly isn't paying attention.
My dear husband (my beloved husband)
Should I go for some highlights, or just try out a new shade of rose?
I see everything that’s going on.
Your husband can't even see you.
Ref.
Oh, for crying out loud... give me a break.
Without you guys, he’d be absolutely nothing.
Honestly, it feels like nobody has ever truly understood me. Not once.
Well, anyone can say anything, I suppose.
If I were a truly despicable person...
Man, you guys are absolute devils.
Watch out, because once night falls, I’m coming for your marriages.
If they ever decided to make a movie about my life, I honestly don't even know where the script would start. It wouldn't be some polished Hollywood blockbuster with a clear plot and a happy ending; it would probably be one of those gritty, chaotic indie films that leaves the audience feeling completely exhausted by the end. Just a series of disjointed scenes, constant setbacks, and endless loops of "why is this happening again?" I can see it now: just a long, rambling montage of me dealing with nonsense, trying to make sense of things that don't make any sense, and getting caught up in arguments that nobody else cares about. It wouldn't be glamorous. There wouldn't be a soaring soundtrack—just a lot of heavy breathing, slamming doors, and the sound of me muttering to myself while staring at a screen. Honestly, most people would probably walk out halfway through because there’s simply too much unnecessary drama and far too little payoff. It’s less of an epic saga and more of a slow-burn comedy of errors where the protagonist refuses to learn their lesson.
At least there's a strip.
If my life were turned into a comic book, I honestly don't know if I’d be reading it for the laughs or just throwing it across the room in frustration.
I know he’d end up being a total pessimist.
Your husband keeps shouting about Americans at the top of his lungs.
Oh, he’s just plain crude. (That's what I'm saying, anyway.)
Is your husband really trying to pick this fight at this hour?
Sometimes I just get this overwhelming ache, this deep longing to be right there by your side.
Ref.
Honestly, you people are just precious.
Just when the sun goes down, I’m coming for your marriages.
Regarding that post and Joe. (I’m officially done, even with the emojis...)
Best regards,
Reddit
