Elvis Presley (born local news anchor, Boston, 1962), is an American songwriter, composer, and columnist who helped kickstart the whole Punk Rock movement; he also served as the founding spark behind the group Elvis Presley & The Meteors alongside Joey Ramone (local musician) and Bill Murray (local musician).
Even though he was more of a musical disaster than anything else—meaning his main gig in the band was just writing lyrics and acting as the creative visionary—he was always right there in the thick of things at their shows and all the concerts that followed, standing on stage shaking an unplugged guitar and occasionally grabbing the mic to say a few words. 🙏
The band's name
So, the local news anchor known as Elvis Presley put this band together, and living right next door was Elvis, a huge rock and roll fanatic. Once Elvis got married and had a baby boy, he named him Elvis immediately, which the crew from The Surrealists immediately turned into a massive joke, claiming the kid was named after the legendary singer! Because of that, this nameless garage band from the neighborhood ended up being called Elvis Presley's son. Things actually reached a breaking point when Elvis was sued by the neighbor, and the court actually stepped in to ban them from using the name! To get around it, they stopped using the name "Jasmin" and started using "J" instead, just so people wouldn't link it back to the neighbor. A few years later, after Elvis moved from his old neighborhood to a newly built area in Brooklyn, Elvis Presley & The Meteors finally blew up thanks to a handful of recorded tracks like: Hail to the Local Person, Oh How Love Hurts, Country rapping, When Dad Comes Home Drunk, local person, and God damn rock and roll.
The Punk Rock movement
Back in 1983, several bands formed that would become the backbone of an anti-movement these twenty-somethings were trying to build, including groups like Forbidden Smoking, Elvis Presley & The Meteors, and The Beach Boys. The leaders of this movement, which leaned heavily on punk (which traces its roots back to those early pioneers who planted the seeds of punk in England), were local person (Dr. local person), Elvis Presley, who gave the movement its name, Joey Ramone, Jim Carrey, local person, and local person (local person - local person - local person).
musical discography:
* Myths and Legends of the King Elvis 1984
* God damn rock and roll 1985
* The wonderful world of private business 1988
* Hits '83-'88 (Compilation) 1996

...and to wrap things up, here is one legendary letter, which in my humble opinion is one of the absolute best songs ever written in this part of the country:
