I cited a study involving over 4,000 participants. These aren't just beliefs; they are facts. Sure, we could argue the study isn't applicable to the entire population because it focused on offenders who were already processed by the legal system, but it still says a lot about certain tendencies. Interestingly, Dr. Abel conducted a similar study about twenty years prior on offenders who hadn't been caught, and the numbers were pretty much the same, except for the frequency of the offenses, which were much higher. I just flew through this, and honestly, I’m seeing zero evidence to back up those claims.
