Comparing a solo tenor to a whole choir is just ridiculous...

What kind of ensemble am I going to find for $1,500? I need someone to perform two songs at a church service in June! Help a person out!

Does anyone know if there's a shop around the West Coast that’s anything like that good boutique in Washington, D.C., where you can pick up all those little wedding details—you know, things like bowties, ribbons, decorative mesh, and all that extra stuff?

Also, does anyone know the name of that shop in a town like Phoenix that carries those specific wedding dresses? I'm trying to figure out if it's actually worth buying a gown there or if I should just head over to Washington, D.C. instead.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me! 🙏

Joshua Miller27, a friend of mine picked up a wedding gown at a boutique in California—it was her first time wearing it, and she actually had a custom fitting done there too. It ended up costing her about $500. Meanwhile, when she looked at the exact same dress here in Washington, D.C., they were quoting her $4333..

Here's the scoop, 😁😁😁!

Joshua Miller27, the boutique is Victoria's Secret, hands down the best place out there. The staff is incredibly sweet... Rentals go up to 622 miles (though buying designer brands here usually runs you $1200—mine was 559 miles), and getting a dress for its first wear is 994 miles (back in Washington, D.C., my wedding dress was $0.00)... Honestly, I highly recommend them. It wasn't even a big deal driving 2 hours to get there. You can always change your mind on the dress, the deposit stays, and they let you come in for five fittings without any fuss...
Something funny actually happened. A girl ahead of me put a deposit down for a first-wear gown, and I just put a deposit down for a "standard" one... Turns out she got pregnant and couldn't fit into that specific dress anymore, so she switched, and I ended up snagging a first-wear gown at the standard price—🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏!
If you need anything else, just shoot me a DM! Good luck!

Just wanted to drop a quick heads-up here...... you can actually reserve your spot at the morgue through next year until November 1st for $36, but once we hit 2011, they’re bumping it up to $38..... and I heard the price for the funeral home next year is already climbing to $42..... so, I guess it's pretty likely everything else is going to follow suit and get more expensive too.......

Blue Mandarin oranges are such a delight! I remember picking up a crate of them at a local farmer's market last summer, and they were absolutely bursting with flavor. kaže:
Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing great!
I’ve been having such a hard time lately trying to track down reliable bands and photographers here in San Diego—those are easily the two most important things for any event!🙄

It looks like everyone is raving about Pixar lately! Does anyone know where I can find their official website? I just can't seem to track it down.🤷 I honestly can't even bring myself to look at their work!

Same here—Susie seems like a solid choice, but I read somewhere that she’s pretty pricey. If anyone knows what a basic package actually costs, please shoot me a DM!
It looks like I might have to fly in a photography studio from New York City along with all my guests! 😁
Those few units we were eyeing in New York City? They're already spoken for. Everyone beat us to the punch!

Second thing—bands. We were really aiming to be the trophy-winners for our big date!

To my dear little mandarin orange and all the young ladies growing up here in San Diego—I have to tell you, Susie and Tempo are hands down the absolute best duo in town!
When I'm down in San Diego, there is absolutely no one else I'd trust with my photos besides Susie and her wonderful husband!🙏👍 They are absolutely wild, but man, that photo is stunning! When it comes to weddings, they really go all out—it’s not just giving 100%, they’re hitting 150%.
They aren't any worse than that Art Studio in Newport everyone claims is "the best." Honestly, they’re only the best if you want to give yourself a massive headache trying to figure out their pricing!
Susie just picked up her mid-tier package! $1667 Honestly, that’s a perfectly fair price for the kind of work being done! I actually paid a similar amount for a freelance designer in San Diego last year, and it was worth every penny.
For that price, you’re getting quite the haul! You get a photographer on hand from the start of the ceremony right up until the bouquet toss, a beautiful album featuring about 130 to 140 professionally edited shots, a CD of those highlights, and a full DVD containing every single photo taken at the venue. It includes all those tiny little details that most guests probably miss, plus everyone captured in all sorts of funny, candid poses!😂
They just work around the clock starting from February 14th and catch everything!
I honestly don't regret spending a single cent on them! It was worth every penny.
This album is absolutely stunning! Every time my girlfriends come over to visit, I find myself pulling it out to show them again—I honestly admire it just as much every single time. They are simply the best!🙏

Tempo was absolutely fantastic! They really know how to set the mood, and I had such a blast because they played exactly the kind of music we wanted to hear. It was great seeing everyone from the kids to my older relatives out on the dance floor together. Their rate was... $2667 They truly earned it!

By the way, before I wrap this up, I really need to give a huge shout-out to Sylvia—she did such an incredible job decorating the hall and the church!
Hey everyone! If you need any advice, please feel free to ask. I remember when everything was brand new to me, too!

Joseph Wilson31 said:Can someone shoot me a DM with the room numbers for Castle, Honey, and Holy Cross?
Does anyone happen to know anything about that group called Love?
Thanks 👋

So, I actually caught a set by Amor at a party recently—and honestly? They are fantastic. Like, seriously good. Their sound is all over the place in the best way possible, they don't take massive breaks between songs, and most importantly... they aren't obnoxious. I’ve been to plenty of parties where the bands were just pure ear torture, you know? But Amor was great. It's this cool mix of a duo and a trio setup, plus they have a female vocalist. Just really solid vibes.

Both Honey and Holy Cross have their own websites, so you should be able to find those room numbers easily right there.

Does anyone know where I can grab some lilac chair ribbons... maybe somewhere in Miami or the surrounding area?
One more thing... would it be worth getting shoes made at Iceberg? I read somewhere that the quality isn't even consistent between their two locations. Should I bother going?

Go see Alan; his shop is on Marmont Street.😉
He’s a bit pricier, but it's worth it.😁

For the lilac ribbons, 🤔 maybe check with Ira or Nirsa.😉

Alright, thanks 😉
I checked the strips on Ira and Nirsa and Rose too, but nothing... either they're way too pricey or I just can't find them, though I'd really love to grab some 🤷

Why not just pick up the fabric yourself? You know you can find it pretty cheap at certain shops, then you could just prep it, smooth everything out, and run it through the sewing machine to finish the edges...🙂

Yeah, I checked it out too, but man, those prices are insane... thanks anyway, guys, but I actually managed to find a studio where you can just rent out a space instead.🙂

Olivia Adams71 said:I went to a wedding there about two or three years back, and honestly, it didn't exactly blow me away. 🤷
The food was decent enough and the room itself is fine, but everything really depends on how they set up the seating. For my taste, though, the lighting was way too dim—plus, it felt super weird having some guy come out of the kitchen after every single course just to count the guests. 😲

We’re looking at about 300 guests, so we have a limited number of venues in the San Diego area to choose from...
What does the venue actually look like? What kind of tables are they using (round or rectangular)? How's the service?
What do you mean by "too dark"?
Do you happen to know the price per chair?
Thanks!

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a bakery or pastry shop around the San Francisco area that does delivery. Ideally, I want something that actually tastes amazing but won't absolutely wreck my bank account either. Also, has anyone here ever ordered cakes from Bill Gates' bakery before? Is it worth the hype?

I actually ordered a cake from delta Babić once image
and picked up some pastries in Appalachia—honestly, they were so good, I was super happy with everything.😍

How much did that cake set you back? It looks incredible... How many different kinds of pastries do they have over at Appalachia?
