I'll shoot you the number via private message (just trying to play by the rules here :-) — wouldn't want to get scolded by the mods!).
mine is May 21st.

I’m looking at either Photo California or maybe just hiring Marko, and for music, I’m thinking about a local cover band. Does anyone have experience with these guys? I’d love to know what they’re actually like and what kind of budget I should set aside. Any good or bad stories would be a huge help... THANKS!

Yellow Cab Band.... honestly, they're so hyped up that I was really expecting a massive show 🙂 when I went to a gig a while back, but I gotta say, I wasn't exactly blown away 🤷... I'd probably give them a solid 3 out of 10!!
As for Mark, he'll be my choice too; I haven't seen any work from him that actually looked bad....😉
I've seen Photo Daily's stuff and they aren't bad at all, so if I wasn't already leaning toward Mark, they might have been in the running too....

A few months back, we hit up a wedding where a Yellow Cab band was playing. My knowledge of local bands was pretty surface-level at the time—I mean, I follow the right forums and all, but since we already knew who they were, I wasn't exactly studying their discography 😁
My take? They were actually solid. My only real gripe was one English track—either the singer missed the mark or the timing was just off. The crew I was with is pretty hardcore about that specific song, so 😁. Honestly, they’re great if you’re looking for rock n' roll, but man, by the end of the night, we were wiped. We usually just stand around and dance, though sometimes even that feels like too much work 😁

Does anyone happen to know how much Isaac Matic charges? I just saw some photos posted by a fellow member—honestly, they completely blew me away.

Paul Morales12 You really saved my skin with that number for the pastry chef from the Mississippi Delta... He can actually whip up a massive tiered cake based on a photo you bring him. I sent one over to my mom today and he handled everything immediately. Honestly, I'm just relieved. 🙂

It starts at $1,550 for the basics. If you want him to shoot a wedding outside of the studio or need an extra photographer, you're looking at more than that.

They finally got back to me with the quote today. It’s for a four-tier round cake—tall, elegant tiers, not those short, squat ones that look like they're about to collapse. 😂Capacity for 140 people. $500 If it’s topped with frosting, it’s $20. If there's marzipan involved? Then it's $20. I don't need to look any further—sold. 😉 They went through my "no" list and suggested flavors based on exactly what I hate—no walnuts, no margarine, nothing overly sweet, and nothing too heavy on the biscuit base. I can’t recall the specific combinations they proposed right now, but honestly, their intuition was spot on. They managed to pull off some pretty impressive pairings.

Jeremy Anderson8 said:So, I was hanging out in Aspen with Mike and ended up stumbling upon the most incredible wedding dress... honestly, I went in there with absolutely zero clue what I was looking for, but it was just the fourth one I tried on when—bam—it was love at first sight 👍.... They have such a massive selection, and Mike and his daughter are seriously so helpful and sweet, too... I am just totally obsessed! 😉

I also went to Miles in Brnaze and had the exact same experience—totally obsessed!!!! I ended up picking the one that made me feel most like myself, though really, almost every single gown was gorgeous... they seriously have so many options

Where are you all getting your hair done? Looking for a solid recommendation for a good stylist 😉

So, I was just serving as a bridesmaid at this wedding, and get this—the hairstylist gave me and the bride the exact same look! Honestly, I am absolutely obsessed. She didn't even charge us for a trial run or anything, which was such a sweet gesture. Since my own big day is coming up on July 9th, I’m already planning to head straight back to her without a second thought—especially since they even had a makeup artist come right to the salon too. It really isn't pricey at all, either. The place is called San Francisco Style, and you can actually get your nails done there as well!

And while I have you all, about the pizza... where did you guys pick yours up? I remember someone mentioning Phoenix Discount earlier, is that still a good bet 🙂? (Gosh, how did I even manage to mash these two questions together—a notary course and pizza, haha 😉
)

As for the drinks, when I was getting everything ready to host guests at my place, I decided to just grab it all at Phoenix... and I actually worked things out with the grocery manager there—he'll just deduct whatever I bring back from the final total. Honestly, they do that for everyone, so he'll just make me a preliminary estimate and then finalize the bill when I show up to pay... basically, you pay for what you used, and anything you return gets knocked right off the bill.

I actually ended up booking them myself... honestly, I was just blown away by the shots they showed me

In seven days flat, we somehow tracked down a venue, a band, and a photographer... though for us, it ended up being a jazz trio playing instead of a full band.
And honestly, she's right—it's pretty hard to find a decent band for less than $1,500 these days... but good luck, you've got this, no worries!!!🙂🙂

Since we're also looking at a duo or a trio... who's playing your event, and does anyone have any recommendations?? Thanks!!🙏

Right now, I’ve got the 100's Trio playing in my head, they are such a great group! I actually served as the maid of honor at a wedding where they performed, and they’re super flexible—they can play as a duo or a full trio depending on what you’re looking for and how you want to set things up.
They cover just about every genre under the sun, though they steer clear of that heavy country stuff, which honestly works perfectly for me... I actually reached out to Sunny Day because I used to hear them playing at local spots all the time,
but it turns out they were already booked up... As far as other bands go, if you're looking for something really high-energy, Bravo Band and Taxi are absolutely incredible... anyway, I truly hope this helps you out a little bit!

Hey there,

Which jewelry store in the US would you recommend for wedding rings? Ideally looking for something budget-friendly 🙂

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction—does anyone happen to know a good stripper for a bachelorette party? I’m looking for someone here in Savannah
