I had a feeling the gallery would be around that price range, but man, that catering cost... that's a bit much. Honestly, I think going with Leo might make more sense—if they haven't updated their rates lately and it's still around $55, it seems like a better deal...
Thanks anyway...

Personally, I wouldn't even consider Leo for a role—even with those five stars, the vibe just isn't there and the price? Ugh... (trust me, I've seen it)... maybe check out the rates at the Meastro estate instead... just go with a buffet style for the food (I think you can get pretty much any combo you want for a max of $83 per person)

Totally agree, Leo is nowhere near 5-star territory...
I wouldn't dream of celebrating anything there.

Honestly, I had no idea! I actually thought Leo was the absolute top tier, but it's good to know... well, alright, we'll see how things play out. I'll definitely do a bit of digging into the buffet options, though I really do like Aria too—I still need to check her out more. Thanks for the heads up! 👍

Could anyone please give me a hand with some photographer recommendations? I’m really vibing with Bill’s style, but I was wondering if anyone knows of other photographers who work in a similar vein? Thanks so much!

I think iSmile is killer, and the Bonačić studio is top-tier too... Honestly, I'm a huge fan of Beep because they do that cool video projection thing on a screen—so you can watch a little montage right before the cake cutting. It's such a vibe. But man, $400 is just way too steep for me! I love the concept, I just don't know if anyone else offers that kind of setup.

I'm really curious about the menu situation over at Sky and what they’re actually serving up. Also, do they do any kind of lighting or table decor? Like, I'm talking fancy stuff—candlesticks and all that sort of vibe.

Thanks for the heads-up... I had no idea about the little movie thing in the hall, but their photo and video work is seriously top-tier...

I was actually at a party over at Skyline recently, and they served a pretty classic spread—charcuterie, risottos, roasted meats, maybe some beef stew... I think you can probably negotiate a seafood menu with them too, though I'm not sure if they offer anything extra beyond that... but everything was lovely, especially the cocktails by the pool... 👍
As for the lighting and those candelabras, I'm not entirely sure—you might have to handle that part on your own...

I really need some advice!
My sister is getting married soon and she has her heart set on this specific dress from the H&M Conscious collection back in '13. She wants it for her wedding gown, but I’ve been searching everywhere—even second-hand sites—and I just can't track it down.
Since I can't find the original, does anyone have a recommendation for a top-tier seamstress or tailor in the Miami area? 🙂

So, I went on this whole sewing journey once, and everyone kept claiming they knew someone who could do it, but honestly... the end results were just super disappointing.
Someone mentioned a lady out near San Jose was pretty good, but I totally gave up on custom sewing after two massive fails... and those dresses were nothing like this simple one...

Look, if she’s one of those folks from the outskirts who runs a shop over in San Francisco, she might be good, but you gotta ask her straight up if she can actually hit a deadline. I’ve been burned twice already because, predictably, she was running way behind schedule.

They don't really have their own lighting or decor setup. I guess if the venue offers those things, you'd definitely have to pay extra for them—at least from what I understand.
Personally, my agreement was that everything is customizable; you can change or add whatever you want. As for the food, it's actually great, along with the cocktails by the pool. Plus, the location is solid since it's actually in a city, not some tiny rural town.

Hi everyone! My partner and I have been thinking about picking out wedding bands for about two weeks now. Does anyone have recommendations on where we should look in San Francisco? I’m completely lost when it comes to pricing, where most women tend to shop, or what specific details we should be looking for... We’re leaning toward white gold—nothing flashy, no diamonds or extra stones—but I honestly have no idea what our budget might need to look like. I don't have any wedding expo discounts to use.
Please, help! Any advice...?

Hi,
I know this has probably been asked before, but I haven't been able to find a straight answer. Does anyone have a rough idea of what a standard wedding menu would cost if we used a catering service? It’s an outdoor wedding, so everything needs to be brought to the site. We're looking at about 100 guests in the San Francisco area.

Thanks!

How early should we start looking for a wedding venue? Our big day isn't until late May.
If anyone has recommendations for bridal boutiques in San Francisco or the surrounding area, please let me know. I'm specifically looking for a ball gown style.

Anamaria Brnaz Bridal Boutique near Boise

Mrs. Shinka has these stunning gowns and really knows how to pick a silhouette that actually works for your body type. Renting was a total breeze... $167 👍

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone here has some leads on a private villa with a massive yard or estate for a wedding near a place like San Diego... it would be absolutely killer if we could find somewhere tucked away and super secluded 🙂 ... 👍

Villa California? 🙂

Maybe try looking it up through: So, I was just scrolling through Airbnb again, and man, it’s getting kind of ridiculous out there. I don't know if it's just me, or maybe I'm just getting old and jaded, but the whole vibe of short-term rentals feels like it's shifting into something way more corporate and... I don't know, sterile? I remember when you could find these quirky little spots—like a tiny cabin in the woods up near Seattle or a weirdly charming apartment in Chicago—that actually felt like someone lived there. Now? It feels like you're just booking a high-end hotel room that happens to have a kitchen, except you still have to pay a cleaning fee that costs more than the actual stay. Seriously, what is up with those fees? It’s like they lure you in with a decent nightly rate and then hit you with a $150 "sanitization fee" at checkout. Total scam, I guess. And don't even get me started on the rules. You can't bring a dog, you can't stay past 10 PM, you can't even breathe too loudly or the host will send you a message about "respecting the neighbors." It’s all becoming so sanitized. Everything is white walls, IKEA furniture, and zero soul. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but I miss the days when renting a place felt like an adventure rather than a transaction with a landlord who tracks your every move via a Ring camera. Just my two cents, anyway. Probably just me being a grump.

Man, those prices are absolutely insane... honestly, I think we'd be way better off just renting out some private estate or a massive ranch out in Cali 🍿

Hey ladies, now that my big day is finally over, I wanted to jump on here and share how everything went. And when I say it was the best day of my life, I’m not exaggerating—everything was absolutely flawless and honestly exceeded every expectation I had. 😁 We are just over the moon. Seriously, the band Apple from San Francisco was hands down the highlight for me 😁 They were nothing short of PHENOMENAL. Such talented, professional, and genuinely great guys! Their music hit home with everyone, from the kids to the grandparents; the dance floor was packed all night long, and I cannot recommend them enough!! Also, Gordon from the RECI DA planning agency was a total lifesaver; she guided us through every step and stayed right by our side the whole time 🙂 As for Sal Aria, it was pure magic. The venue is stunning and functional, and the staff and owner are just top-tier—I can't say enough good things! The food was incredible from start to finish, and they even handled all the cleanup and packing afterward; they were so helpful. For the desserts and cake, we went with Viacom, and wow, they absolutely killed it. My makeup artist, Frank, is a straight-up genius who worked wonders (check out my mini makeover on Facebook!), and if anyone needs photos, feel free to DM me. Our photography and video crew from Studio Forever were absolute pros—super chill guys who know exactly what they’re doing. They even used a drone which was awesome; they were so low-key that we barely noticed them, yet they caught every single precious moment. Total pros. Huge thanks also to the Swallow Association for making those gorgeous little magnets that my guests get to keep as keepsakes 🙂 I know it sounds too good to be true, but I swear everything was perfect from beginning to end. Everyone involved performed at the highest level, and my guests haven't stopped calling me to say it was the best wedding reception they've ever attended 😁 I am just so happy with everything, though I'm honestly gutted it all flew by in a heartbeat. I’d do it all over again in a second!! 😁 Just soak up every single second, because this beautiful day goes by way too fast 🙂)) Big kissesss 🙂
