It wasn’t bad—the vibe was actually pretty nice😉

Well... those photos I've been seeing for Friends look absolutely wonderful...

Previously, the link only showed the guest rooms and the restaurant, but they've finally added some shots of the hall during an actual wedding ceremony

I really quite like it

And honestly, it’s such a huge plus that I can just put everyone up in the inn upstairs

😁

Hey, God girl, I just booked a spot at Forest Grove for 150 people. Now I'm just crossing my fingers that we actually get some decent weather this September. 😍

Thank you! I actually managed to track down the details in the chat; honestly, you can find so much more useful information through the chat than you ever could in the Useful Information section. 🤣

My dear friends...

I wanted to give you all a quick update on how my big day turned out.

To be perfectly honest—it was an absolute dream. Everything was just beyond perfect.😁😍

Castle Salo—everything there was top-notch.
The band—the Uber band—was even better; they really set the mood, and more importantly, their performance was flawless.
The photo -- second—I am extremely satisfied.
The flowers—simply lovely.

I don't have much time to sit and write a novel, so here are a few shots from the day.

Well, we usually cap it at about 70 for comfort, I suppose.

But if things get a bit crowded, it could probably stretch to maybe 130 or even 150.

Best regards!

Most hair salons just list a makeup artist's number on their site. I went out of my way to find someone separate. Regarding makeup, everyone keeps raving about Studio Gloss—Martha does the work there, and her application is incredible. $133And at Walmart too, Donna.

God girl, I really need some advice... my godmother is getting married next year and she’s currently torn between a few different venues. Has anyone here actually held their wedding reception at the Grand Hyatt? She's specifically curious about the quality of the food and how the staff treats their guests—has anyone had any personal experiences there? Any insight would be great, thank you!

Yeah, I'm guessing the lower number is due to the parking situation

The food at Honeybee was pretty decent. They could definitely use a few more servers to keep things moving, but overall, it wasn't bad.
I attended a wedding there with about 170 guests in the larger hall, and even then, there was plenty of room to dance or just grab a seat for another hundred people... 🤷

Personally, I thought the Grand Hyatt was a disaster. That whole vibe feels like something out of a twenty-year-old's fantasy, and the food was just... mediocre.🤷

Hey girls, I really need some help here...
I was supposed to be heading to the Phoenix venue, but I just heard some pretty wild stuff about that hall.
Can someone please talk me off the ledge if anyone’s actually been there or knows what's up?

Well, you heard exactly what you heard. 🤷
Have you ever actually set foot in there?
Personally, I’ve heard nothing but great things about them, so don't let every random rumor get to you.😉

How do they even manage running multiple weddings at once over there? I’ve heard stories about two receptions happening at the exact same time, where you could actually hear the music bleeding from one ballroom right into the next.

Anyway, I’ve never actually been to a wedding in that area myself...

Personally, I had my wedding in the medium-sized ballroom—not the massive one. There was another wedding happening in the grand hall at the same time, but I didn't hear a thing. Everything was honestly great.😍
Don't sweat it.

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up some white satin ribbon—I need at least 25 meters—and some white organza? I'll need quite a bit of that too, maybe another 25 meters or so.
Thanks!!

Quincy:
I suppose I should probably start by saying that I don't have much to add to the current discussion—though, looking at the thread, there seems to be quite a bit of back-and-forth happening already. I’ve been sitting here thinking about the points raised earlier, and while I see where everyone is coming from, I feel like we might be overlooking a few nuances. It’s easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment, I guess, but maybe if we take a step back, we can look at this from a slightly different angle? Anyway, just my two cents. kaže:
So, I was at a party this past Saturday, and I just felt like I should take a moment to give a little shout-out to the crew... they really did an incredible job.
I have to say, Billie’s place over in Savannah is absolutely top-notch... honestly, I was so impressed. The venue itself is incredibly clean and well-organized—everything just flows perfectly—and both the service and the food were stellar. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great spot. 👍
The bend 100s turned out great—the guys did an absolutely stellar job with the priming. Since we were working with international-grade pir, I figured we’d need to be a bit more generous with the volume and density of the fill... but honestly, the crew nailed the task perfectly. Seriously, hats off to them. top:

Hey, I saw you were actually at that Bellevue venue over in Savannah... how many people ended up showing up to the party? A close friend of mine is currently torn between Honeybee and Bellevue—she absolutely loved the look of the ballroom at Bellevue, but she’s a little worried about the crowd size. She’s concerned there might be too much congestion and that everyone won't be able to fit comfortably on the dance floor if they have around 140 or 150 guests.
