They don't really do house calls. Itโ€™s actually just one girl who handles both hair and makeup, and since she can have three or four brides booked up on a Saturday, everyone pretty much has to head down to the salon.

Thanks for the heads up. ๐Ÿ˜‰

rapiddrifter7-Thatโ€™s such a shame. That's exactly what I'm looking forโ€”a one-stop shop for hair and makeup. It's way too much of a trek for me to drive all the way to Indianapolis just for a blowout and some glam.

Tyler Campbell59, that place near Richmond is called Sweetie! Their pastries are top-tierโ€”they look great and they actually taste amazing too. I heard theyโ€™re opening a branch in Dakota, so if you have guests coming over, maybe you won't even have to drive all that way. How do you get there? Just use Google maps! ๐Ÿ˜

Opening a branch in Dakota???? Are you serious!??!?!?!? That would be a massive move if itโ€™s actually happening. :-)

Has anyone here dealt with that Sax band from Des Moines? Have you heard them before?

Ladies, does anyone actually know which flower shop in the County is worth visiting?

They actually played at my wedding, and honestly, I can't say anything but the absolute best things about them.
If you're looking for a total blast, you should definitely reach out to them.

Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜‰ The wedding isn't until next April, so hopefully they'll have that Dakota location open by then. That would be perfect. ๐Ÿ˜ Once they open, I'm definitely going to go pick out a pastry. ๐Ÿ™‚

I swung by that little corner market in Richmond earlier today, and honestly? It was a total bust. There isn't a single thing in purpleโ€”not even a hint of champagne pearlโ€”nothing remotely close to what I actually need... just an absolute disaster.

Jack Lee5, Iโ€™m honestly so sorry you didn't manage to find anything ๐Ÿ˜ข
Were you ever actually in Vigus?

Not yetโ€”I'm planning to head out to Arizona first; maybe I'll have better luck finding something there.

You'll definitely find everything you're looking for thereโ€”as long as it comes in your favorite color ๐Ÿ˜

Do they actually maintain their own website where they showcase their products?
It doesn't sound like a massive selection at allโ€”I'm genuinely curious to see what their catalog actually looks like... ๐Ÿคฃ

Here's the link, but the site is under construction. Maybe give them a call; they might email you some photos... ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, if you're nearby, finding them isn't hardโ€”they're right downtown. I noticed they carry home improvement supplies too... decent selection, at least according to my taste. ๐Ÿ™‚ .. $5.25 It's that massive one, though I can't tell you exactly how many A4 sheets it holds... ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey ladies, Iโ€™ve been scrolling through your comments and honestly, you all have such a wealth of information here. It's a goldmine.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a photographer based around the Pittsburgh area (or somewhere nearby)? I'm looking for someone talented, but pleaseโ€”I need someone who won't absolutely break the bank!

Ugh, this stupid snow... we were supposed to head out to a small town in Ohio for some shopping today, but ๐Ÿ™‚, hopefully things clear up by next weekend. We still want to check out some wedding bands there. I actually wanted to order invitations (found some info via $1.25/the printer), but I tried designing one myself and everyone says it looks great, so I think I'll just DIY them! By the way, does anyone know a good discount liquor store? Is Bill Clinton's place affordable? Do they offer any bulk discounts?

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say... if you're in Arizona, you can find absolutely everything. Seriously, you can pick up every single wedding essential under the sunโ€”whatever your heart desires is right there. I practically bought out half the store myself. Weโ€™re talking wide ribbons, thin ones, bows, fabric for the flower girls, cookie boxes, all sorts of decorative trimmings... honestly, even if they don't have a specific item in stock, they'll just ๐Ÿ˜
for you.

Where on earth is this Arizona located?

Where are you guys looking for groom suits? We checked out Galileo, and while they have some decent options, nothing really stands out. Plus, there isn't anything affordable $667. Weโ€™re debating if he should go with a matte suit instead of those super shiny, silky formal ones, since he won't be able to wear those anywhere else later. What do you all think?

I honestly think my husband is going to go with the matte finish; I've never been much of a fan of those shiny ones...
Matte just feels like a classic look to meโ€”you can wear it anywhere and it works for just about everything.
