Could someone please recommend a high-quality bakery or a specialized pastry chef for a wedding cake in Indianapolis? I am looking strictly for the cake itself—no need for an assortment of other desserts.

Hey there, all you beautiful brides-to-be! I actually played the raffle at the fair—twice—and somehow managed to win both times! 😁
I scored gift vouchers worth $333 for a wedding at Mirea Bridal Salon in Savannah and $333 La Sposa Osijek. Since I’ve already put down my deposit on my dream dress, these aren't much use to me. So, I'm selling this voucher for $33. Or, if anyone else won a different prize they don't need, I'm totally open to a trade!

I actually received a voucher today from... $333.

Does anyone know of a great band that covers the entire Midwest area? I’m looking for someone just as talented as Quattro or Vigor. They’re already booked up, so I’m really hoping for some recommendations on a top-tier group. Please help me out if you can!

I’m looking for some help finding a high-quality band for wedding guests to dance to—ideally a group that can also handle all the coordination and timing. I was thinking of something along the lines of Vigor or Quattro Band, but they happen to be booked up.

Does anyone have any good recommendations? Thanks so much!

I was actually at a bridal expo the other day, and I came across this couple who specializes in cakes. Honestly, they were impressive—everything was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can just show them a photo of what you want and they’ll replicate it perfectly, right down to the flavor profile. Or, if you prefer, you can just tell them what flavors you love and let them work their magic. Their website is www.kolacic-osijek.com, located over on Sljemenska 123. Between them and Grandma’s Recipe, they're my go-to choices.🙂 Hope that helps you out.🙂

Now, I have a quick question for the group... does anyone here actually have firsthand experience with Stephanie’s Atelier in Indianapolis? Specifically regarding their photography work? I’ve been scrolling through their photos and videos, and honestly, I wasn't exactly blown away. The shots looked pretty mediocre—almost like I could have just grabbed my own digital camera and snapped them myself. As for the video, it was alright, except for the fact that the cameraman’s hands were visibly shaking the whole time. It seems a bit amateurish to me that they weren't even using a stabilizer or a tripod...😢

Regarding the music, we actually locked in the Twister band. We even caught one of their rehearsals and saw them play at the Old bridge pub in Indianapolis once... and honestly, we’re stoked... 😍 A bunch of people gave us glowing reviews after seeing them play weddings, too. As for the cake—go with Peter Pan... they are hands down the best in the business... the creams are just incredible... Oh, and about those gift vouchers—my husband and I both played the raffle, and neither of us walked away with a single thing... but I’m heading down to Savannah this week to check out dresses at Mirea, so if I find something I love that actually fits my budget, I’ll grab that voucher 😍 if I don't get it sooner, but I'll be in Savannah on Wednesday 😁

Has anyone ever heard of the Viva Box Band? They're based out of Indianapolis!

What are they like?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for bands?

Thanks!

If you're into heavy cream cakes, then sure, go for it. But personally? I find almost everything they make a bit too sugary and overloaded with fillings and frostings. 😁 It's just not really my style. 🙂 Everyone has different tastes, obviously. Most people absolutely adore the Ice Wind cake, but for me, it's just too much cream and too much sugar. 🤣 Your best bet is to just head over there and sample them yourself to be certain. 👍

Thanks, but they're already booked up.

Could someone please tell me what the Viva Box Band from Indianapolis is like?

I would be just incredibly, incredibly grateful!

Hey there!
I managed to snag a few coupons from the fair, so I figured I'd share them here in case anyone can use them...
TSA - 10% off your service booking
photo-joe - gift voucher worth $167
Coachella production - 15% discount
MAC Cosmetics - lash extension service - gift voucher worth $33
*The expiration dates aren't listed on the coupons, and honestly, I don't remember all the details myself! 😉

Look, if you're ever hanging out around the Midwest, I can personally vouch for a group called San from the Indianapolis area—and honestly, you should also check out Bonita Band from around there too.

Just to add my two cents here—I actually swung by Cherry Hill recently to scout out some wedding guest options, so if anyone is looking for a breakdown on pricing or any other details, feel free to reach out and ask me directly..

I actually attended a wedding where they were performing, and I was quite impressed... they feature both male and female vocalists, which gives them an enormous repertoire; they didn't play any Country music (though I'm not sure if they typically do). A colleague of mine hired them for her own wedding and mentioned that Joseph (he was their point of contact) was very polite, easy to work with, and truly wonderful to deal with. That wedding remains a vivid memory for me because we spent the entire evening dancing without pause, and their keyboardist was simply fantastic...

Hey ladies... I was wondering if anyone might know of someone out in the Kansas area who rents or sells white pigeons?
