Jamie Newman10 said:They aren't exactly terrible either, from what I've gathered... they're the new players on the block, so I'm not entirely sure what kind of rates they're asking for... but that Zoom photo studio over in Savannah is looking for $1267

5k for the larger package doesn't seem like all that much to me... 🙂

Hey, does anyone happen to know where I can rent a small pop-up tent around Indianapolis? I need one for my backyard, but ideally something with a floor included. If you know any leads, let me know 😁

How much did you guys deposit for the P&G studio? I’m wondering what made you pick them—I think both they and Boise are solid, but from what I calculated, Boise seemed cheaper!

They create such a great vibe that I’m honestly thrilled with how everything turned out...😍 though now I still need to figure out my photographer... ☕
Girls, let me ask you something... where are you planning to get ready? I'm torn between Studio Chic here in Indianapolis or Coco Gauff... though I have to say, Coco really caught me off guard at the trade show... she showed up to represent herself and her salon looking like she hadn't washed her hair in a week, and the makeup wasn't exactly great either... look, I get it, they were probably slammed that weekend, but if you can't find ten minutes to wash your hair, that's just unacceptable. My hair is almost down to my waist and I can wash and dry it in about twenty minutes flat... but anyway, moving on... the girl working those booths for Portanova was actually quite pleasant. She was a tall, curvy girl with beautiful brown hair... I can't recall her name...
with Coco, the plus side is that she comes to your house to do the whole routine, whereas with the others, you actually have to travel to a salon... so I'm still weighing it up... I'd love to get my maid of honor, my mom, and maybe another cousin all done at once...🥳

I went ahead and booked Anne. As for her own personal makeup style, I think she’s a pro and will style every girl based on their specific face shape, skin tone, eye color, etc... from looking at her work, I haven't seen anyone look anything less than perfect when she does them...

Hey... I’ve got a quick question for you guys. How far in advance is actually "ideal" when it comes to sending out wedding invites? Like, how much lead time did you all give your guests before the big day?

Well, if you're so sure, why don't you send me a photo of yourself after she's done with your makeup?😉 Like I mentioned before, the fact that she offers house calls and can even bring her own hairstylist along is a huge plus—at least, that's what I've heard. I've looked at some of her work; some pieces were fantastic, while others felt a bit too conventional. Then again, maybe that's just what younger clients are looking for.🙂 The problem is I haven't found much of her work online, and it feels awkward to walk into a salon and demand to see a physical portfolio.🤣 Meanwhile, those girls over at Chic have a massive gallery on Facebook, and they really are 😍

Hey... anyone else picked up some gear from Arizona lately—specifically bows and stabilizers? How are the prices looking? Any decent selection? Also, what else is actually worth grabbing out there?

Timothy Chavez28 said:We’ve already booked the venue and the band, so now we just need to pick a photographer. Since we're closer to the Midwest, we're looking at either Video Studio General Dynamics or Shutterfly. Has anyone worked with them before? Any tips or suggestions? We're meeting with both soon, so I'd love to know what to look out for.

I haven't heard anything about General Electric, but Shutterfly is totally fine! The guys there are super easy to work with and down for whatever crazy ideas you have. Their albums seemed a little "off" to me before, but they probably updated their style since it’s been almost a year since I last checked them out..

I can't believe we're already at this point! It's going by like a lightning bolt! kaže:
Hey girls! 🙂)
Hey girls! Quick question—what's the capacity like in the new arena over in Midwest? Any idea how many people can fit in there? Thanks a bunch!🙂

I’m thinking maybe 250 to 300, but honestly, you can take my word to the bank on that one!

Maria Ramirez4 said:Great vibe, friendly staff, delicious food, clean restrooms, and plenty of parking. My only gripe is the floor space. They claim the hall fits 500 people, but I’ve been to weddings with just over 400 where it felt like a packed subway car—especially once everyone hit the dance floor.

My vote goes to Elvis Presley. Guaranteed good times. 🙂

Best Buy carries all sorts of small bottles and caps.

It wouldn't hurt to scroll back through a few pages once in a while. It’ll save us all from hearing the same thing over and over again. 😉

I've heard mixed things about Vigor. One wedding guest said they played this weird mashup of country, rock, and folk—completely missed the vibe, leaving her totally bummed. On the flip side, someone else mentioned the musicians are solid and the lead singer, Roth, is a blast to watch.

I've heard great things about P&G studio when it comes to their photography, but word is their wedding videos are a complete disaster. Definitely do your homework before booking them.

We used them for our big day in September and the video was actually great.🤷

Hey, is anyone here planning on getting a wedding dress from Isabella's? I was originally set on them—already dropped a deposit—but then I saw this other dress at a different boutique and totally fell in love 😕 The staff at Isabella's told me the deposit is permanent and can be transferred to anyone, so... since I don't want my money to just vanish into thin air, I’m looking to pass it on to someone else for 50% of the value. That way, I break even a little bit, and whoever takes it over gets half off their initial payment. If you’re planning a wedding or know someone hitting up Isabella's soon, hit me up 😉

Honestly? I'd say maybe a month or two ahead of time...

It probably depends on if you're just giving them a heads-up or actually sending out invites. If it's official invitations, then yeah, a month or two out is fine, but otherwise, you should probably call them way earlier. Like, several months... we’re planning to start calling people for September just so we can get an actual headcount.
Also, does anyone have a recommendation for a good local bluegrass band near Indianapolis? We booked a full band, but we're still missing some backup musicians...
And btw, someone was asking about that photographer Kelley—well, we went ahead and booked them, so we'll see how it goes 🙂 They have a special deal running through the end of February, they seem pretty decent and the price is reasonable. We'll figure out the rest after the wedding...😁

Ever checked at Walmart? I heard Vigor might have some for rent too... Maybe ask 🙂

For a brass band, I can definitely recommend the Boy Scouts of America. I heard them once and they were sooo good! You can find them on YouTube, go check them out 😉

The crew at Chic is absolute perfection. 😍 I was in for a trial run recently, and "satisfied" doesn't even cover it—I was BLOWN AWAY! My only warning is that they stay incredibly busy, so if you're thinking about booking them, move fast... they barely squeezed me, my bestie, and my sister-in-law in, and I was actually the third bridesmaid that Saturday! 😲

Thanks for the advice, ladies. I'll let you know who we pick once we see their work and decide what we like best.

Hey guys, just a quick heads-up for anyone heading to Kansas City (pretty sure I spelled that right, I haven't been there myself lol). There’s this shop that basically has everything you could ever need for a wedding—think lapel fabrics, invitations, cake stands, bowties, all that good stuff. Word is, the prices are a total steal, even cheaper than what you'd find on eBay. Apparently, the shop is right across from the local market...
