It covers the life of the famous socialite and artist Edie Sedgwick, the muse of Andy Warhol, who ultimately died from a drug overdose.
It’s an interesting piece, particularly regarding that specific era in the late sixties in the USA, when the youth were attempting to grasp at the divine while the majority remained trapped by their own fears and delusions.
..Sienna Miller looks stunning, though based on what I have seen, she bears little resemblance to the actual Edie Sedgwick.

I recommend the movie, but stay far away from hard drugs, my friend.😁🙂

So, I’ve shared my thoughts on this movie before, but I’ll say it again: I think it’s actually quite cool. It really nails those pop-art vibes, and I’d argue they captured the essence of Edie through Sienna perfectly.
The resemblance isn't about looking like carbon copies of one another; it’s more about capturing their specific energy and style.

Look, it’s hard to label this as a "masterpiece" or claim the acting is groundbreaking,
but please don't misunderstand me—I’m not knocking them. The actors clearly put in the work to embody these legendary artists. It’s a fascinating little piece with enough documentary elements to make the whole pop-art era feel alive.
If you’re into arthouse cinema, you’ll dig it. I’m mostly talking about the aesthetic—the fashion and those originally commercial, high-concept ideas.
Essentially, the keywords are:
posh, artsy, superstar, fame, wealthy, glossy, snobby, queer, fashion-forward, frilly, ritzy...
pretentious, indie, unique, quirky, eccentric... you get the gist of that vibe.

If that’s your scene, go for it. The visuals and the flair are genuinely great. But maybe we should have a conversation about all these fancy descriptors; after all, it’s perfectly fine to indulge in a "gallery movie" once in a while.😬

p.s. Sienna is lovely😍(at least in certain scenes).
