Sigh... Lately, the loneliness is becoming constant. I have no motivation, I rarely go out, and I’m starting to fear that I’ve become a total stranger to everyone around me. People seem to attack me for no reason, even though I feel like just a small kid lost in a massive world. I've come to realize that God is in control of everything, and only now am I truly understanding my neighbor Mary. I am trying to find solace in that. I'm attempting to stay active by going for runs, but mentally, I am just exhausted. I haven't been around this forum much lately, and I fear things are reaching a breaking point. Please, I need advice on what to do. And honestly, I’m scared of getting jumped by certain guys; they are much stronger than me, yet they keep provoking me and calling my cell. I am putting my faith in karma and trusting that God sees everything. 😲

First bit of advice? Maybe swap out that avatar pic.

Second thing... just write what you're actually thinking right now. Don't get stuck rehashing old ideas. Just be real.

If you want my honest opinion, just drop all this heavy philosophy and theology stuff...

Because what happens when some thugs decide to jump you? You're going to end up owing them money, too.

1. How old are you? Somewhere in the 15-25 range? ...maybe sign up for a local sports league... you'll probably meet someone that way eventually.
2. I wouldn't bring up theology. Everyone believes in something, even if it isn't the same thing.
3. You might want to change your phone number. XD

Just stay true to yourself. I basically raised myself, if you don't count my family. Looking back, I don't regret staying in, but I know for a fact I would have regretted going out all the time. Honestly, disco clubs are garbage, most bars feel like they're built for senior citizens rather than
young people, and the small talk just gets under my skin. For me, the internet is everything; without it, I feel like I’d be totally lost, in
a way. Living in my town can be pretty aggravating because I feel like I already know everyone—and honestly, it would be better if I didn't
know them! The internet serves as such a vital lifeline for me. If you aren't the type who enjoys hitting the town, you really don't have to
after all, since the web offers so many different ways to find entertainment and learn something new, far more than any
random guy from the neighborhood or some local dive bar could ever offer.🙄

Hey everyone, since this is the only appropriate thread for this kind of thing, I’m reaching out because I could really use some help.
I don't have anyone in my life. I haven't spoken to my parents for as long as I can remember, and I don't have any friends. I just finished high school, and honestly, I was just counting down the days until I didn't have to look at my classmates anymore. A few days ago, I had a massive blowout with my best friend—the one person I could actually talk to about what was weighing on me. She was always there whenever things got rough. The reason we fought is that lately, she’s been treating me like we were never even close, almost like I’m nothing to her. To be blunt, I didn't deserve that. I’ve always treated her better than anyone else; she never lacked anything from me, and I always went out of my way for her. Then, out of nowhere, she just snapped, and everything we had vanished. I tried to sit her down and talk through it, but she just shut me out coldly. Since then, I’ve hit a breaking point, quite literally. She was the only person I truly cared about and could open up to, and now she’s destroyed that. I haven't slept, eaten, or even drank anything in three days. I don't have one specific "problem" to solve, but I needed to share this somewhere because if I stay in this headspace, it’s going to destroy me.

🙂 Man, it must have been absolutely brutal to get all that out in one go. 😢 Just remember, you aren't going through this alone. Even when everything feels like it’s hitting the fan and things look their absolute worst—it passes. It always does, somehow. I know anything I type here is probably gonna feel pretty empty, but I read your post and it really hit me hard... I just felt like I had to reach out and send a huge hug your way. I couldn't just scroll past.

Have you thought about writing her a letter? Like, just getting everything out there? How are you actually holding up?

I went through the exact same thing... and honestly, it takes a long time—longer than you’d expect—to realize that you're essentially just wallowing in self-pity. There's even a strange, quiet sort of comfort in it, if you're being honest. I used to spend my time hitting up the beach alone or catching a movie by myself; 186 miles even though I have a girlfriend now who is a bit shorter than me, I spent a lot of time flying solo before we met. These days, I don't really seek out much of a social circle either. I often find myself thinking that this whole cycle only starts to shift once you finally stop fighting it and just accept it.
That’s the real lesson here, I think. Because if you can't stand being in your own company, how are you ever going to be able to stand anyone else's?

Your mistake was letting this girl become the sole person you care about and the only one you could talk to. That isn't how it should work. Everyone needs a support system beyond just one individual; you shouldn't put the entire weight of your emotional life onto a single friend. If you think about it, you might have actually been a burden to her because you relied on her so exclusively.
Try to broaden your horizons and seek out new interests; there are plenty of interesting people out there waiting to be met. Perhaps she might even come back around once she sees that you aren't solely dependent on her for your well-being.

For Djetic - if you have truly known God, then you are never truly alone; if you still feel this sense of isolation, perhaps you haven't come to know Him fully yet.

Of course, one must remember that online communication is actually occurring between billions of gods, spirits, and aliens, rather than just some mere mortal🙂

😬

Especially with how "open" social media is supposed to be nowadays.....
When all the real talk happens on sketchy forums, hidden behind weird handles, avatars, and burner accounts.........
