Flash Mob

This thread is open to anyone looking to propose, join, or discuss a flash mob here in America.
Please focus your suggestions on major cities (Washington, D.C., Miami, Seattle, Indianapolis, San Francisco—especially during the summer tourist season—or Columbus...), specifying the exact location, date, time, and planned activities.

First proposal: October 26, 2007, at 3:00 PM at Ante Starčević square. Participants will suddenly drop to the ground and lie still for about 30 seconds, then disperse quickly in all directions. Leave your responses or comments below.

I think I started an AOL thread somewhere about this... I just can't quite remember where. Anyway, does anyone know who might be organizing something down in Miami?

I honestly don't think anyone would actually lie down on the ground in the middle of a rainstorm
you'd basically have to track down some die-hard Flash mob fanatics just to get them to try that kind of stunt

Let me know who's in. Just drop the organization name or whatever.
If it rains, we’re jumping in the puddles. We’ll be soaked. If anyone has a problem with that, they can stay home...

Hey everyone, is there actually anything going on with that flash mob, or have I just been out of the loop? 😕
I personally think it’s a pretty cool idea and we should definitely get it organized; it seems like it would bring such a positive vibe to everything.
