Formula 1 in Auto Racing

Is there any realistic possibility that the formula subforum could be rebranded into an auto racing hub... basically a dedicated space for all things motorized, from various championships to individual races?
Having a standalone section for just one specific type of racing feels a bit pointless, especially when you consider that only a handful of people actually contribute to the regular threads over there...

Maybe we should just scrap the soccer subforum entirely and launch a "Ball Sports" megathread where we cram every single game into one place. Honestly, might be a better idea.😬

Anyway, the Auto Racing section is already packed with NASCAR, rally, WTCR, World Superbike, and everything else under the sun...

So, what's stopping you from posting about other types of motorsports here?🤷

Most other branches of auto racing already have their own dedicated spots within the automotive subforums.
While I can see the logic behind having a combined auto racing section, I fail to see any reason to suggest dismantling a perfectly functional Formula 1 subforum. 🤷

If fans of other types of motorcycle racing want to branch off and establish their own independent space, you'll have my support. But please, let's not force Formula 1 enthusiasts into some arbitrary integration just for the sake of it; this community works perfectly well exactly as it is. 🙏

Trust me, a fair amount of people are posting here, and even more are just following along. 🙂
Plus, when there's a race going on, you can easily find about thirty different users active in the chat and jumping between threads. 🙂
