Freudian Disappointment

That Freudian analyst is left scratching his head.

Do you think he was let down because he couldn't find a satisfying answer??

Or maybe he was just looking in the wrong place to begin with??

"The biggest question I haven't been able to crack, even after thirty years of studying the female psyche, is this: What do women actually want?"

Is there even an answer out there to that question??

Here’s a little more. Every man eventually hits that wall of Freudian disappointment 😁 In moments like those, how you carry yourself really matters. Since I woke up in a bit of a rock-and-roll mood this morning, here’s some low-brow poetry for the road.

The answer is actually quite simple:

For anyone to truly feel content—regardless of gender—they just need to receive far more than they actually deserve. 😉

Honestly, I think I’d be miserable even if I actually got everything I deserved, let alone more... 🙂

And why does it even matter what women want? Every man should just start asking himself what the woman he's actually with wants. Honestly, knowing that one thing is plenty... 😁

But look, if we wanted to save the male brain from any unnecessary strain, do you really think it would be wise—or even remotely humane—for us women to actually tell them exactly what we're looking for?
Maybe then their lives wouldn't feel quite so incredibly heavy and complicated.

Actually, I don't think that's what people expect anymore.
I mean, even Freudian theorists were practically begging him to finally wrap this up and solve the great mystery of women once and for all.

Since when did Freud become the ultimate authority here?

He built a system of cause and effect based on his own values. It works well enough in clinical practice, but it’s just one method among many equally successful approaches used today.

Like any other theory, the Freudian system fails to answer many fundamental questions.

Freud never truly achieved self-realization, and his personal disappointment stems primarily from that failure.

Why should he be the one tasked with solving the mystery of women?

Throughout history, many cultures have produced individuals who don't share his frustration. They understood themselves, the world, and women perfectly well.

The issue is that we often fail to understand these people. Instead, we expect some universal "vegeta truth" to be served to us through dense psychological jargon.

Honestly, I’d argue that the whole phrase "controlling a man" was actually cooked up by men themselves, just so they wouldn't have to admit to themselves—or anyone else—that they simply aren't interesting enough to keep her attention (which, let's be honest, is often the case for both sides), rather than admitting she can't control them anymore.

What kind of woman would ever walk away from an interesting man just because she finished "controlling" him?
So, basically,
you're forcing a conclusion where a woman leaving a man isn't about her desire to exert control, but is actually a direct result of the man's own lack of substance—read: how boring he is.

People always say men are hunters by nature, but half the time they don't even care about the prize once they get it. It’s really about the thrill of the chase—designing the trap, testing out new gear, the whole process...
And I guess he was just applying that same logic to women, rephrasing things to fit that perspective...
