Since I’m really not an expert when it comes to picking out computer specs, I was hoping to get some guidance on finding a solid Best Buy gaming rig that can handle all the latest big releases. If anyone could drop a link to a good setup from one of their local stores, I’d truly appreciate it. I tried browsing through Micro Center, but it felt like spinning my wheels since I don't quite have the technical know-how to navigate those details. Thanks so much for any help you can provide.👍

That’s a solid PC build right there.

Some potential tweaks you could make:
- Case - go with the Raijintek Arcadia if you prefer that style. With the current setup, you get two fans, but the Arcadia only comes with one, plus the Zalman Z1.
- GPU - maybe look at a Gigabyte model with a longer warranty. Just so you know, the 270 and 270X are essentially the same card; the "X" version is just slightly overclocked out of the box, though you can manually overclock the standard 270 too.
- Power supply - an EVGA 500W Power Supply.
- Cooler - if you aren't planning on overclocking, the Spire Kepler from $27 should suffice. However, if you do plan to push it, you might want to step up to something like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.
- You can ditch the burner if you don't strictly need it; you can always burn Windows onto a USB drive instead.

It’s honestly worth investing a bit more in a good cooler.

ASUS Prime Motherboard
The EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 with 3GB of DDR5.
I guess we're looking at an Intel Core i5 Western Digital Blue HDD.
Intel Core i5 Western Digital Blue HDD (3.5", 1TB, 64MB, SATA III-600). Western Digital
Patriot Signature Series, DDR3, 1600MHz, 8GB (1x 8GB) PSD38G16002
Corsair Carbide Series Midi Tower case, no power supply included (P/N: GESI-179).
The Spire Kepler Rev.2 cooler works with 115X, 775, AM2-3, and FM1-2 sockets.
Maybe an EVGA 500W Power Supply would work there. I guess.

Total: $1530 reuters.com

They ditched the heat pipe and went with a cheaper cooler just to squeeze in a better GPU. I guess that’s how it goes sometimes.

Please don't judge me too harshly for asking this, but if I take this picture along with all these specifications down to the shop, can I just show them what I want and have them build the whole thing for me?
I definitely don't need a soldering iron—I actually know what that is—but when it comes to things like coolers and everything else, I'm completely in the dark.😁

Basically, you just head to the website, toss all those parts into your cart, and check out right there—you provide your info, pick a payment method, and they even offer cash on delivery if you want it sent straight to your door. Just keep in mind that shipping will cost you $13
.
Alternatively, you could just take that list down to the store like a total cheapskate and tell them, "Yeah, I'll take this"
.
Bottom line: don't let them try to upsell you on some pre-built configuration they've already decided for you
.
