Gigging rates?

Hey there! I was just wondering if anyone here might have a rough idea of what mid-tier singers—think someone like Sandy or those similar mainstream artists—typically command in fees for live performances?

I suppose it all really comes down to the scale of the gig itself. There is a massive difference between playing a dive bar in Austin versus headlining a major arena in Chicago, isn't there? You can't just throw a blanket question like that out there; every singer negotiates their own terms, and honestly, it mostly depends on how much of a cut the promoter decides to take from the gate. But, if you ask me, we are getting far too caught up in these tiny, trivial details...

I was reading somewhere that Sandy pulls in about $2,500 per gig—if I’m remembering that right—and Pejaković probably commands even more than that, though if they're playing a larger venue, the payout is definitely going to be higher.

It really boils down to a massive amount of variables—it’s not just one simple number, I suppose. You have to factor in things like the specific setup (whether they bring a full backing band, maybe just a few musicians, etc.), the venue itself, the expected crowd size, and how long the set actually lasts...

I’d estimate we’re looking at somewhere between $1,500 and $2,000, potentially stretching up to $3,500 or even $4,000. But again, I should emphasize that it varies quite heavily depending on those details.

Word on the street is that rock bands pull in about 40 $0.00, while Vatra manages 14,000.
I’m guessing those country singers and pop acts are clearing way more than that.
