I went ahead and started a new thread over at the IRS forums, thinking I was doing things the right way—only to have a moderator swoop in, dump my post into some ancient, dead thread from back in 2012, and then lock the whole thing up again. Seriously? Was that a glitch, or is this intentional? What am I even supposed to make of this? It feels less like organization and more like they’re just trying to silence certain users.
If their goal was actually to merge the discussion, why on earth didn't they move it to an active thread? There's a perfectly fine, open conversation happening elsewhere that I didn't even know existed—not until I saw the link coastaltiger72 posted later on.
