Google Drive issues?

I've been leaning on Google Drive for years now—it's just handy being able to dump everything into the cloud and call it a day.
On my PC, I have this Google Drive folder set up, so anything I toss in there should automatically sync up to the web. It’s been smooth sailing until yesterday. I dropped two video files into my local Google Drive folder, and the upload process dragged on for about an hour and a half.
So, I click the Google Drive icon down on the taskbar, select goto google drive, and it opens my web folder in the browser. Everything else looks fine, but those videos? Nowhere to be found. All my other files are sitting there perfectly (and it says I still have 6.5 GB of space left).
The weird part is, when I look at that exact same folder on my computer, the video files are right there staring at me.
I'm honestly stumped. Does anyone actually know what's going on here?

Do you actually have that "View sync problems" option showing up for you?

It shows up on the list, but it’s grayed out (unavailable)
So, just to test things out, I tossed a few more files—some photos and an MP3—into a local folder on my PC. I can see them syncing down at the bottom of the screen, but once the progress bar hits the end, they're nowhere to be found on the web version.

Take a look in the trash can.

And what about the other way around? If you just upload stuff directly through the browser, does it actually sync back to your computer?

So, I just tried uploading this little video file—about 17 MB—straight through the browser. It said the upload was a total success and everything went through to the cloud, but now I’m staring at my desktop and the file is nowhere to be found in the local folder.

Have you tried restarting the Google Drive app or the services?
