Graphics driver issues

Just a quick question here... I've had my PC for about 9 months now, and during that time, I've had this issue three times where the screen goes black for maybe 3 to 4 seconds. A yellow triangle pops up saying "warning: display adapter stopped working and recovered successfully"...
Everything goes back to normal right after that. It happened again last night, which was the most recent instance. It isn't happening constantly; let's say once every three months or so.

In the Event Viewer, it says😁display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I checked my graphics card drivers, and everything seems fine—no conflicts or anything like that.
Why would this happen just occasionally?
It actually happened yesterday right in the middle of me watching a movie... after a few seconds, the movie just kept playing normally.🙂

It’s probably just a glitchy graphics driver causing all this trouble. Honestly, you might want to try a clean uninstall and then grab the latest version from the manufacturer's site before reinstalling everything...

Thanks, I'll give that a shot... although I really should just use the driver from the disc that came with my graphics card. I'll try downloading it online and see how it goes.

Just make sure you grab the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website...
