With each passing day, I find myself experiencing an ever-deepening sense of inner peace and bliss.
I’ve been wondering lately, have you all reached a plateau in your spiritual journey, or is your own growth still unfolding?

Honestly, nothing of the sort has ever happened to me. From one day to the next, there is simply nothing occurring, just a constant, unchanging void. Is it possible that I am merely fading away more and more with each passing moment?

Honestly, that’s really the only metric I use to gauge my own progress—or anyone else's, for that matter. It's all about that internal state.
Thanks, Kyle Campbell5.

I’m curious—has everyone else hit their ceiling, or is there actually some progress being made out there!?

And what exactly is it you think you need to "evolve" into?😁

I appreciate the insight, Kyle Campbell5.

I find myself in complete agreement with you on this point.

So, how do you actually recognize blessedness?
Is it just by looking at those secular types we no longer resemble?
Or is it that we wouldn't want to be like them anyway?

Compared to those regular, profane vibes we don't relate to anymore?
Or wouldn't anyone even want to be like that?

Honestly, you can't really put it into words. You either feel it or you don't—it's just like love. People have been trying to describe love forever, but if you haven't felt it, the description doesn't mean squat to you.

And yeah... that feeling of pure bliss? It’s hard to hold onto. Very few people actually live in that state constantly. Some mystics have even written about how impossible it is to stay in that headspace permanently...

Also, that's basically what American churches teach about God's thoughts. You can't earn that feeling. Period.

In India, they try to reach that through all sorts of methods and techniques. But if you aren't careful, those practices can actually drive a person straight to a psych ward...

That’s why nobody over there would ever dream of trying those techniques without a guru leading the way.

And yeah... that sense of pure bliss isn't exactly something you can hold onto forever. Very few people actually live in that state long-term. Some mystics have even written about how nearly impossible it is to sustain that feeling indefinitely.

It’s also similar to what American churches say about the mind of God. You can't just earn that kind of feeling.

In India, they try to reach that state through all sorts of different methods and techniques. But if you aren't careful, those same practices can actually drive someone straight to a psych ward.

That's why nobody over there would ever dream of attempting those techniques without a guru by their side.

Wait, how did we jump from this to "techniques that make you lose your mind"? 😕

The bottom line is: you don't do any of that stuff without guidance.

I want to know if your spiritual growth has hit a wall, or if you're still evolving!?

More bliss means less progress.
The more blissful you become, the less drive you have to evolve because you're too comfortable.
Bliss is a dead end...

If you’re too blissful, you lose the drive to improve because everything feels perfect just the way it is.
Bliss is a dead end.

Spot on, if we're talking about that intense bliss felt in the Anahata chakra—that heart stuff—which totally stunts growth because it feels so good you never want to leave.

But I think people are actually talking about general bliss, which doesn't have to be this heavy "heart-centered" or ecstatic thing, but more of a steady state for your spirit (and your body, mind, and all that other jazz). 😁

Then again, maybe I'm just full of it! 😁

But my take? I think the group is discussing a broader sense of bliss. It doesn't have to be this "heart-centered" ecstasy; it's more of a general state of being for the spirit—and the body, the mind, and all the rest of the gear involved. 😁

Of course, feel free to tell me I'm dead wrong! 😁

What kind of damn development?
Development of what?🙄

Development of what, exactly?🙄

So, you’re looking at this whole idea of "development"—whatever that actually is—and trying to figure out how to get to the truth of the matter. Here’s the kicker: once you really strip everything back, you realize there isn't actually any development happening at all. There’s no such thing as being "undeveloped" or "developed," which means there’s no middle ground either. If those states don't even exist, then the entire process of change is just an illusion.

There’s no road, because there isn't even a distance to travel.

What we’re actually dealing with here is just this illusion of motion—it feels like we're going somewhere, but it's all relative, not absolute.

If you're on a subway train heading forward at some velocity V...I guess we're talking about the light rail now? Or are we just venting about public transit in general? Either way, I'm listening. You’re basically sprinting backward at Mach V.I don't know what you're trying to get at with that, but I'm not following.Even if V is...I'm pretty sure I just saw someone try to board an Amtrak train with a literal shopping cart. Like, buddy, we aren't at a grocery store, we're trying to get to Chicago. Just walk.=VvtrčHonestly, you aren't even moving, yet somehow you're already breaking a sweat. 😁

Forget the subway—just grab a bike. 😬

And hey, maybe skip the swearing too. It just makes you look like you haven't quite reached full maturity yet. 🤣

Sophia Jones61 said:The whole concept of "growth"—whether you think you're actually achieving it or just drifting along—is an illusion. If you ever truly grasp the reality of things, you'll realize there is only one state of being. Development itself can't exist because there is no such thing as "undeveloped" or "developed." There is no middle ground, and certainly no process of change.

There is no path, because there is no distance to travel.

What we perceive as progress is nothing more than a relative illusion of movement, not some absolute truth.

Think about it this way: if you're on a subway train moving forward at speed Vand you decide to run backward at that exact same speed Vrunning, even if Vsubway equals Vrunning, you haven't actually moved an inch. And yet, you're still sweating through your shirt. 😁

My advice? Let go of the train. Grab a bicycle instead. 😬

And stop cursing; it only proves how relatively "unrefined" you really are.🤣

Who’s cursing?😍 😁
Don't lose sleep over "progress." Everything settles where it belongs eventually.😁

That’s what you call enlightenment—once you hit that point, things tend to bottom out. But I'm pretty sure there'll be a moment where everything starts climbing back up again. It just takes time, some sacrifices, and a whole lot of patience, I guess.

And since when do I stress about anything? 🤣 🤣 🤣

So, we're just gonna do our own thing then?

That stings a little, doesn't it? 😳 😈 😁

To hit on someone = 🙂

To hook up = 🙂

A few drops still thinking they're individual entities, totally oblivious to the fact that they're just part of the damn ocean along with everyone else😉

Why are you getting all defensive right away?🙄

😁
