Steven Soderbergh is dropping his latest flick, Haywire, in US theaters on January 20th next year. It’s looking like a gritty spy thriller along the lines of Bourne or salto, centering on a female operative (Gina Carano) who goes on a total revenge mission after her own bosses stab her in the back.

The cast is actually stacked, too. Alongside Carano, you've got Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, Channing Tatum, Antonio Banderas, Mathieu Kassovitz, and Bill Paxton.

Looks alright, but the trailer gives way too much away, which sucks.🙄

Honestly, you only watch this for Gina Carano 😍

All they’re missing is Rampage Jackson and Randy Couture to get the whole UFC crew together 😁

I can hardly wait! 😍

But since Carrano is in the cast 😲 🤣

I guess I might give it a look 🙂

Honestly, that's a pretty solid reason enough for me to give this movie a shot... 😁

What is taking so long with this movie release? Shouldn't it have hit theaters by now? 😕

So, we've basically been handed a female version of Jason Statham here... which, honestly, I'm totally fine with! 🙂 The movie looks like it's going to be an absolute blast to watch...

I can't believe it—he isn't even mentioned in any of the AMC trailers! 😠 Why on earth aren't they screening this in our local theaters? Does anyone know where I might be able to download this movie? Honestly, what a disappointment. 😠😠😠

There's already a CAM version floating around the web if you're interested in checking it out. Honestly, it's nothing new when it comes to the local distributors here... they really aren't acting like The Three Musketeers! 🙄

Ah, that’s just not it. We really need to wait and see... honestly, whenever I see the kind of "blockbusters" playing in our local theaters, it actually makes me feel sick.

Caught the CAM version this morning, and honestly, I wasn't really feeling it... though I might give it another shot once a decent digital copy drops... the soundtrack was what really got under my skin, though, since it just stays exactly the same from start to finish...

I find it absolutely fascinating how many huge Hollywood names Soderbergh manages to pull together just to anchor one of his action flicks. 🙂

It was an okay movie, I guess.

It’s fine, I suppose, but it’s a relief he didn't end up in our neck of the woods... what a nightmare that would have been.
