They’ve actually never played around here before, and this show will be their only stop in the former Yugoslavia region during this whole tour—fronted by none other than Page Hamilton. Helmet hit their peak back in the mid-90s when albums like > and > went platinum, consistently sitting right behind genre titans like > and > on the charts. Back then, the media labeled them as > and crossover, but with those sudden injections of noise and jazz, they quickly became cult icons even for people who didn't usually dig that heavy stuff. Over the years, they've evolved into a full-blown alternative powerhouse, moving over 3 million albums worldwide and influencing pretty much every band that draws from the crossover sound.
