😕

I'm 17 years old, and I’ve noticed my ribs are quite prominent—it's almost as if they stick out—while just below them, you can see the definition of my abdominal muscles, so let's just say I have a somewhat athletic build. However, the main issue for me is really those protruding ribs...

I was wondering if this could potentially be caused by rahitis—though I'm honestly not sure, perhaps due to a vitamin D deficiency or something similar...
If it actually is rahitis, would it be too late at my age to get my ribcage to settle back into a more natural position? And if it isn't that, does anyone know how I might go about making them look more normal...

I would truly appreciate any advice you all might have—I just really want to fix this. Has anyone else here dealt with something similar?

Please, if anyone could help me out... Thank you so much in advance, and I really hope to hear from you.

Then again, maybe you're built that way because it runs in your family...
Advice:
Just own it. Love yourself for how you look and be grateful that you aren't dealing with major medical issues at 17—believe me, more people your age are struggling with much heavier stuff than this.
