Well, hello everyone. It’s been quite a while since we last spoke. 🙂 And certainly not under these kinds of circumstances. 😬
The whole point of this post is to ask for a bit of leniency regarding my standing here in the US.
Look, I’ll be the first to admit I was intentionally stirring the pot with certain members, but I had my reasons. That isn't an excuse to say my behavior was right—it wasn't—but at that moment, I didn't see any other way to handle things. I want to sincerely apologize to everyone, especially the moderators, for making you waste your time cleaning up my messes.
So, what has changed? Well, I actually achieved exactly what I set out to do.
Why am I coming forward now? I dropped by the forum after a long hiatus and saw that things were heating up again in the US chat, with people even talking about shutting it down. The US chat was a lifeline for me when I was hitting rock bottom; it helped me find my footing again and rebuild my self-confidence. Because of that, I really want to help ensure this space stays alive (as much as my responsibilities allow). This chat is vital for people going through the toughest chapters of their lives. Even if my request doesn't go anywhere, I would strongly suggest doing everything possible to make sure the US chat remains a permanent fixture.
Why should you give me another shot? Up until now, I haven't asked for, nor have I been granted, a second chance. I promise that the quality of my posts will be, at the very least, on par with how they used to be back on Lies. Furthermore, I’m willing to accept a permanent ban for my first serious offense moving forward.
So, please, take my request into consideration. Also, I’d appreciate it if the voting statistics regarding my case could be posted here for transparency.
