So, I’m 45 and my hip cartilage is basically shot—dealing with osteoarthritis, if you want to be technical about it. I just saw Dr. Nemec, and he’s suggesting I go for hip resurfacing. Since my surgery date is creeping up on me, I wanted to see if anyone here has actually gone through with this specific method and how things turned out for you. I’ve heard a fair amount of doctors mention that there are some real risks involved, and apparently, in certain parts of the world, they're even phasing it out of standard practice, which has me a little uneasy. I’d love to hear your actual experiences—how was the recovery process, and honestly, how much of your mobility did you get back? Thanks in advance for any insight you can share. Cheers
