I just sat through it, and honestly? It’s fantastic and absolutely hilarious. Personally, I think it actually beats Shaun of the Dead.

I think Shaun of the Dead is absolute garbage.

I dig Shaun, but hot Fuzz was such a riot... just constant jokes playing with all those clichés... plus a ton of killer scenes 😍

For anyone who’s a fan of Peggy, he wasn't half bad in Big Nothing. It’s just dark comedy, nothing groundbreaking, but still decent enough

I thought Shaun of the Dead was a solid movie, but I haven't sat down with hot Fuzz yet. Honestly, looking at the premise, hot Fuzz looks like it might actually top Shaun of the Dead🙄.

The fuzz! That movie is going to be a total classic thirty years from now, 😉

It’s a solid flick, a quintessential summer watch... basically a giant parody of those buddy-cop action movies (and then some). Honestly, when I first saw Jim Broadbent on screen alongside Martin Freeman and Bill Nighy, I thought, "Wow, this is quite possibly the most perfect casting ever assembled for a comedy." But let's be real—those last two are mostly just there as bait to get you in the seat, popping up for maybe two scenes, whereas Broadbent is actually a vital part of the whole thing.

The opening is absolutely fantastic, but then it settles into this long, drawn-out buildup that feels like it drags on forever—it definitely hits a bit of a slump there—only for the whole thing to suddenly explode in the final thirty minutes.

For a lazy weekend afternoon, it’s a perfect 😬

that last half hour is hilarious. Especially when Angel jumps and kicks that old lady right in the head 🤣

though, personally, I still think Shaun of the Dead is better.

To them, a masterpiece is defined solely by how attractive the cast is.
I recall one "critic" (likely the only one left on Earth) in an American paper who trashed "The Godfather" while giving a perfect score to some melodrama starring Di Caprio 🤣
