How do I delete my posts?

I’ve tried dropping a few thoughts on some philosophy threads maybe three or four times now, and every single time my post just gets nuked without a trace. I was kind of expecting at least a little heads-up or a warning if I was actually being off-topic or if I somehow crossed a line and offended someone... just looking for a little clarity here.

Just dive into that PDF of the community guidelines, get a feel for how the conversation usually flows here, and if things still feel a bit fuzzy after that, just shoot a moderator a quick DM to clear things up.
