How do I install an optical mouse?

Hey everyone.

Does anyone here actually know how to swap out an old optical mouse for a new one? I could use some help.

How does the installation even work? I didn't get any instructions or anything in the box.

If I’m stuck needing to install drivers, can someone walk me through it step-by-step?🤔🤦

I'm running Windows 7 on my PC.

Just try plugging it in; it should start working right out of the box without you needing to install any drivers at all.
