Well, I seem to have gone and made a bit of a mess of things! In a sudden burst of digital housekeeping, I decided to clear out all the cookies on my computer, and in my enthusiasm, I accidentally wiped out the ones for this forum too. Now, goodness me, I find myself having to go through the whole process of logging in every single time I try to do anything around here! Does anyone happen to know how I might be able to restore those cookies, or perhaps find a way to stop this constant need for logging in after every little move I make? It’s quite exhausting, really!

Help!

Your profile looks perfectly fine to me.
If this keeps happening, you should probably try asking for help over at the IT department. 😉

Check out what's listed under User Settings > Edit Options, specifically in the Logging In, Cookies, and Privacy section.

Oh goodness, I have gone through every single setting imaginable, and according to my browser, cookies are enabled and everything seems perfectly fine! Yet, here I am, constantly having to deal with the hassle of logging in over and over again—but now, an even more vexing issue has cropped up: the site simply won't let me submit any posts!!! Not even my private messages will go through!!!
It is getting quite frustrating, as it won't even allow me to post a question over in the IT tech section! Oh, please, if anyone could lend a hand, I would be ever so grateful! What on earth should I do?

I don't know how you can say that when you just posted right here. And you did it while logged into your account, too.

I was just wondering, what kind of browser are you currently using?

So, I just tried registering again under a different username, made sure my cookies were enabled, and still—nothing. It’s just not working. I noticed in the help section it says anyone can post without even being registered, but I'm stuck. I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer, and honestly, I’m at my wit's end. I keep trying to submit posts in the forum, but it just won't let me through.

[@zra said:"]I tried creating a second account and enabled cookies, but nothing is working. It seems anyone can post here without registering, according to the help section. I'm using Internet Explorer, and I'm honestly at a loss. I keep trying to post in the lounge, but it just won't go through.

Try activating your account by clicking the link sent to the email address you used during registration.
If you're using Yahoo, make sure the message didn't end up in your spam folder.

If you're using Yahoo, make sure to check your spam folder just in case.

Man, I already did all that! I activated everything and even reached out to the forum admins. Still nothing. Why do you think this is happening? If I can't post here, I might as well go post everywhere else—I'm losing my mind over here.

Thanks IMF, but I’ve honestly tried everything and it just won't let me send anything anymore. I guess this is where we say goodbye...

P.S. That avatar of yours is pretty terrifying 🙂
If anyone could please let urbanhawk85 know that I’m truly sorry, but we can't keep talking because of all this nonsense, I'd really appreciate it.

Honestly, you're being such a child. Just keep laughing if it makes you feel better. Thanks for nothing.
