So, I was all hyped up and ready to go, plugging my flash drive into my PC just so I could finally binge those shows I recorded off my digital antenna receiver. But of course, because my luck is just that great, the computer starts throwing an error saying it can't open the DVR file.
I’m basically begging any tech wizards out there for some help—what kind of software am I actually gonna need to watch these DVR files on my computer?

If this doesn't do the trick, you're probably just missing the right codecs, right?

Just grab the pack and get it installed.

I'm running into the exact same issue, but I also wanted to know if there’s a free program out there that could convert that file into an AVI or something similar?🤷

Maybe just give Format Factory a shot? I don't know. It’s worth a look if you're stuck.

It’s free, I guess... just not entirely sure which file formats it actually plays nice with.

So, I found out that the DVR-MS files on my computer will play just fine using Zoom Player, though it isn't exactly free software. 😢
