Can someone tell me how to turn on the red underlines for typos? I’m running Windows 7 and even though my whole system and Microsoft Word are set to English, the language is stuck on American. Basically, I have no idea how to get those spell check lines to show up. If anyone knows the fix, let me know. Thanks

If you haven't installed the American English grammar tools within Microsoft Office, you’re essentially flying blind without any way to fix those errors.

Your best bet is to head over to the Microsoft website and download the English Language pack.

Look, just try this: open up a document in Microsoft Word and head straight up to the main menu. Go to Tools, then scroll all the way down to Options. Once that new window pops up, you'll want to click on the Spell Check tab. On the left side there, look for the "Spelling" section and just uncheck the little box next to Hide spelling errors... That should do the trick and solve your problem once and for all.
