Hey guys,
Can someone who actually knows their stuff explain the right way to do decline sit-ups? I do them by only dropping down until I'm parallel with the floor—not all the way against the bench—just so my abs stay under constant tension. I keep it slow, too, no momentum. I usually grind out sets of 60 to 100 reps because honestly, that’s the only way I even feel the burn.
So I don't get why people (who claim to be experts) say you should just do sets of 10 to 20.
Someone mentioned you should focus on your core instead of your hip flexors. But if you're on a decline bench, there's no way you aren't using your hips.
Can anyone clear this up for me?
Thanks 👍
