What's the damage on the price tag??
Does the VA cover everything, or am I gonna have to cough up extra cash??
Can you actually pick out a specific model??

It’s pretty common for people to be unhappy with the equipment they're issued, so they end up going out and buying their own instead.

I'll give it a shot over there too, though I'm not sure how much it'll actually help since my buddy isn't even a member🙄 of any organization.

I'm looking for some recommendations on electric mobility scooters.

It’s for an elderly family member—still fairly mobile, but they use a cane. We need something specifically for outdoor strolls, so nothing that requires constant, heavy-duty operation. The main thing is portability; it needs to be easy to break down and fit into a car trunk, and it shouldn't be so heavy that it's impossible to lug up a flight of ten stairs in pieces.

Any specific brands or models I should be eyeing? I honestly have no idea what the price range looks like—maybe somewhere around $1,000 to $5000?

Also, do these things actually handle hills okay? They'll only be used a few months out of the year, likely in a coastal town with plenty of steep inclines...
