Is this a Trojan?

My antivirus keeps flagging a Trojan on some random site, specifically under ads2.monitor.us. Or maybe it's somewhere else? I can't tell anymore.

Google keeps throwing those warnings my way too, but since I’ve made the switch to Linux, I suppose I'll just leave you all to struggle through the chaos alone. ☕

It seems to be giving me the same error message... and everyone else too... though I suppose since I'm running Linux, I might just have to live with it...

First thing this morning, my work computer started kicking me out the second I tried to click on any thread. Our corporate firewall was flagging everything as a malicious site. Now, even my home PC is throwing up those scary "malicious website" warnings. Long story short, guys—we’ve got problems (again).

Man, I've been dealing with nonstop issues accessing Reddit while working on Linux today

It keeps redirecting me straight to Twitter.com—which, by the way, I don't even use
even though everything was running perfectly fine at the office all day yesterday

And now I'm getting the same headache at home on my Windows machine

Hit Start, then click Shut Down 🙂 The virus is officially dead and gone
Maybe someone just lost their mind because they started banning all the wrong people, lol

That’s probably why this forum has been acting completely haywire over the last two weeks.
I’m using Mozilla, and after a while, the forum just refuses to load. So, I switch over to Google Chrome, but then the site stops working there too. Eventually, I have to restart my laptop just to get back to square one. 🤣

Avast actually flagged it for me, warning me about a malicious website here 🙂.

I honestly can't believe this is actually happening! It’s wild to see, especially considering just how much sweat and hard work has been poured into this forum over the years.

Same thing happened to me on Google Chrome.
On a brighter note, ever since I asked here a few days ago about why I couldn't load any pages, this forum hasn't lagged once and seems to be running smoothly.🤣
But, well, I guess the peace didn't last long. 😁

I've been having the exact same thing happen on Mozilla all day. I try to load Reddit and it just dumps me onto Twitter immediately.

Honestly, you're way better off just starting a dedicated thread in each subforum instead of trying to cram everything together. Trying to squeeze this into the last six posts we've had? Yeah, no. There's just not enough room for everyone to chime in 🙂

I read somewhere that if you’re running an ad blocker, a virus from a forum can't actually infect your computer. I’ve got an ad blocker active, and my Avast isn't even popping up with alerts like it usually does when I stumble onto a sketchy website...
