Hello everyone,
Since I recently sold my main rig, I’ve been forced to rely on an old backup machine for the time being. The motherboard is a
Dell OptiPlex, featuring an Intel Core i7, 2GB of RAM. It comes equipped with
integrated Intel Q67 graphics. I attempted to install a Radeon
NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 after configuring the BIOS to PCIe and stripping out the integrated drivers. However, upon booting, the fans spin up, but the monitor remains stuck on a black
screen—accompanied by a series of beep codes (4-2-3-3, which indicates an extended block move error). If I plug the monitor back
into the integrated graphics, everything functions perfectly fine. My power supply is rated at 500W, so I highly doubt that's the culprit—especially since this card worked flawlessly in my previous build.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance. 😠
