I’ve been dealing with a ruptured eardrum since an impact about eighteen months ago. For the first two or three months, things seemed to heal up just fine—everything was back to normal until I started training archery again. Apparently, the physical strain triggered another "pop," if you will. Since then, I’ve had constant issues whenever I push myself physically. It feels like the eardrum is paper-thin at the site of the rupture; whenever I exert myself, I get this muffled sensation and can actually feel air moving in and out. My ENT tells me everything looks fine—he doesn't see any actual perforation—and honestly, nothing bothers me when I'm just sitting still. But the second I start being active, the symptoms kick in. If anyone has dealt with something similar or knows what might be going on, please let me know... thanks.
