I haven't seen anything this brainless in a long, long time... Honestly... if they keep going like this, Friday the 13th is going to drive me insane...

The only decent part was when the girl pulls off his mask and you finally get to see all the rugged charm of our boy DJ

The whole movie just feels like a desperate, pathetic grab for some quick cash at the box office...

Honestly, this movie was a total bust.

I watched it, just like every other horror flick on Netflix, and I have to say, it didn't disappoint. In fact, it actually exceeded my expectations, especially considering it’s just some random sequel in a franchise I can barely even keep track of. 😁

The movie was such absolute garbage that I didn't even bother watching it to the end.🙂 👎

I own the entire Friday the 13th collection. Most are fine, but this one is a total wash. No real plot, just suddenly floating in space. A complete wreck.

Just some fun trash for anyone who isn't looking for a serious horror flick, but rather the absolute biggest mess in the whole franchise! 😁

This movie is pure, unadulterated trash 😁 I mean, there’s a scene where he stuffs those women into a sack and starts beating them against a tree 🤣 or that ending where some guy flies in from outer space just to pick him up... absolutely priceless.

This movie is an absolute masterpiece.
I honestly feel for anyone who doesn't see it that way.

I suppose I needed a good laugh, because... whew...

But, moving back to the matter at hand... the film is bad. It isn't quite so abysmal that I couldn't sit through it until the credits rolled, but damn, it is just plain bad.

Haha, Jason... honestly, I’ve sat through almost every single sequel just to kill some time (and get a few cheap laughs😂), but this latest one? It’s absolute garbage—I'm talking incomprehensible levels of bad. They tear the guy apart—head, limbs, everything—but somehow, he walks away from it like it was nothing at all😂😲. To make matters worse, they just take his remains and turn him into some sort of "upgrade" version, like Jason X. I actually heard they’re already filming the eleventh installment; I can't help but wonder what kind of ridiculous upgrade we'll see in that one (maybe something like Jason XP😂😂)?

I think we'll finally get some clarity on how good the sequel actually is before "Jason Vista" drops.

You heard wrong—they're actually making a remake of the original. As for the movie itself? It’s just fun, campy trash. You shouldn't take it seriously, much like the rest of the films in the franchise. 🤣

Hehe, you're absolutely right. They eventually realized there was no point in making new sequels because they had completely run out of places to set the action. I mean, we've seen Jason in the countryside, at summer resorts, in massive hubs like New York City, and even out in space—where else could they possibly go?😕So, they decided to just go back to basics and find a way to justify new entries by doing remakes, which lets them recycle the same locations and setups. Still, I have to give credit to Jason. Thanks to him, my friends and I have started laughing at every single horror slasher we watch. Only Jason can turn a horror flick into a total comedy; when we were watching Jason X, we honestly thought we were going to die laughing.😂😂)

Heh, you should check out the later Nightmare on Elm Street sequels. Once you see those, you'll know what it actually looks like when horror tries—and fails—to be funny.🤣

Jason X is honestly terrible!! My favorite—or maybe my least favorite—scene has to be when they slice him up and he falls onto that machine that builds his new parts, turning him into the ultimate version: Jason X!!! Just awful!!

That specific scene is actually what makes this movie an ingenious piece of art.

Honestly, what's the issue here? From start to finish, it's obvious this was made by true lovers of trash horror who decided to take their favorite franchise to a whole new level. And they nailed it.
There’s even one sequence that feels like a nod to 2001: A Space Odyssey, which is beautiful (and frankly, better than the actual Odyssey).
And then there's the K-M 14 character, acting as an ode to all cyborg women and the Terminator itself.

Plus her killer line: "I'm afraid I'm gonna hurt you a little, now." 🙏

I really don't get how people can think movies like this are bad.

Bad acting, cheap effects, terrible dialogue—some people just can't handle it. Look, it’s a B-movie. You aren't supposed to sit there analyzing it like it's an Oscar winner; you watch it to have a good time. It’s got a trashy plot, C-list actors, gore, and fights that stick in your brain.
