I have to point out (despite that picture above 😁 ) that Jaws isn't actually a "shark movie"... even if there are sharks all over the screen—and I mean the real deal, not those rubbery, CGI messes we see nowadays...

Honestly, the last film that truly rattled my cage and left me with this lingering, itchy sense of unease for days was B. Dumonta’s "29 Palms"...
Thank god I sat through Dodgeball 😁 just fifteen minutes after watching Jaws, otherwise I would've spent the rest of the night completely losing it. At least I ended up laughing my head off... 😁

That movie has one of the best endings I've ever seen... it doesn't try too hard to be dramatic, it's totally unexpected, but it feels so raw and real—and when you actually sit back and think about it, it's really the only way things could have gone down...

So, I just walked out of the theater yesterday, and honestly? The movie was actually pretty solid. It wasn’t overhyped, the pacing felt smooth, and they didn't rely on cheap special effects... just really high-quality production. I’d almost be brave enough to call it a piece of art, though I’m still scratching my head at how it even fits into the horror genre... but hey, let's not split hairs.

Anyone catch that movie yet?

Just looking for something to watch on Sunday afternoon—nothing too intense. Honestly, when I saw in one of those supplements that a director couple was trying to pull a Dogme 95 stunt, it just ticked me off.🙂 Lars von Trier is garbage.🙂

I haven't actually sat down to watch it, but honestly, I’m just not really feeling it. I don't think I have much interest in yet another ralje meets documentary style attempt along the lines of The Blair Witch Project...🙂

I actually sat through this thing twice just to try and wrap my head around what everyone finds so brilliant about it, but honestly? I just couldn't stomach it!

Anyway, I have it in my DVD collection, but I'm avoiding the beach because of it. 😁

If I had to pick between ralje meets, Deep Blue Sea, or this one, I’d definitely pass on the first two before even thinking about stepping foot in the water! 😉

Jaws actually hit home for me since I've dealt with similar stuff before—it really let me feel that vibe...
it made the movie super creepy and tough to sit through—total horror in every sense of the word.
definitely check it out.

That final scene was just phenomenal—the way she finally accepts her fate and just sinks under.

It really pulls you in—you start wondering if something that intense could actually happen in real life.😲

Exactly! That movie is based on a true story, just like The Blair Witch Project! 😉 The actors are actually alive and well, probably out there hawking groceries at a local Kroger! 😂

The movie was decent... ali it really could have been so much better than it was

I guess I just feel like Alfred Hitchcock would've absolutely loved this concept, and he probably would've turned it into something phenomenal. It feels like it was almost made specifically for him, you know? 🙂
