Transformers is basically perfect for high schoolers, though honestly, the older crowd should probably just stay away...

The plot is incredibly predictable...

It’s just some geeky kid in school who's totally crushing on this girl—who, of course, happens to be dating the captain of the football team—and predictably, he uses his giant robot car to win her over.🤮

You missed the mark on the Boldati part; you're talking about Transformers, but whether it's Jumper or Transformers, it's essentially the same thing 🤮

Total fail on my part. I completely hijacked the thread.🙄

I haven't actually sat through it, but I’ve got a gut feeling it's total garbage...
The plot is basically written for toddlers playing in a sandbox...
Pathetic...

Transformers is a decent enough movie, though...

It all comes down to personal taste. If you ask me, the plot is pretty weak, even if the visual effects are top-tier... I mean... seeing a London bus sitting in the middle of the Mojave Desert just feels off...

This is exactly what happens when I send my boyfriend off to the local Blockbuster.

It actually turned out to be quite productive; once he settled in front of the TV for about ten minutes, I was able to stretch my legs, wander around the house, and finally tackle some of those "lingering" chores I'd been avoiding.

MY BRAIN IS ABSOLUTELY FRIED FROM THAT MOVIE.

One would truly have to go on a scavenger hunt just to track down a movie this pathetic

from the incredibly grating lead actor to a plot that is nothing short of moronic

not to mention watching a bleached-out Samuel who seems stuck on a loop, merely regurgitating lines from his previous films

honestly, this stands as one of the most profound disappointments of the year

may God forbid they ever attempt to film a sequel

boo!

That movie was terrible; Hayden and Bilsonica were a total disaster.
Bell was the only one who actually acted well. I really hope there isn't a sequel, because I definitely won't be watching one.

I’m just not feeling this movie. Honestly, the premise had enough legs to work, but the execution? A total train wreck. It’s baffling, really, especially when you consider you’ve got Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson leading the cast.

Look, the guy falls into the ice, and everyone assumes he’s dead because, I mean, come on, they called out to the whole damn town and he never surfaced. But then, a few years later, he just pops up out of thin air. And the first thing his unrequaled love asks him isn't even about the survival—it's basically, "HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU ALIVE?"

Then, on their very first date, they decide to fly off to Rome.

And while they're there, they actually choose to go to an arena, and the movie ends with him just sending her back onto a plane? Are you kidding me? That was supposed to be the moment where this massive, epic story unfolds, but instead, he just sends her home on a flight. Seriously? 🤣

The character played by Samuel L. Jackson is just brainless. Honestly, the movie barely even touches the edge of what it should have been—a fun, high-energy sci-fi flick. You can see glimpses of that energy, mostly because, like someone mentioned, the editing is incredibly frantic, which makes zero sense. There were parts where I literally had to rewind five times just to figure out what the fuck just happened.

At the end of the day, they took a perfectly solid concept and just completely butchered it, over and over again.

By the time the credits rolled, I honestly felt like I had just sat through one massive, overlong prologue... I spent the whole time just waiting for the actual plot to kick in and for the setup to finally end🙄.
It sounds like they’re aiming for a trilogy, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they actually deliver something worthwhile or if things stay this mindless...

Jumper 2 is slated for a 2011 release, but as for a third installment, I haven't heard anything concrete yet.
