Keyboard issues

Hey guys, I'm running into a bit of a headache with my keyboard.

It’s my Logitech G413 mechanical gaming keyboard.

Everything was totally fine at first, but then out of nowhere, my left Ctrl key started acting possessed... it just triggers the Windows task manager on its own whenever I touch it.

I've already tried all the usual stuff, like running Windows troubleshooting, uninstalling the driver from Device Manager, swapping between different USB ports—tried both 2.0 and 3.0—updating the BIOS to the latest version, and even resetting the BIOS back to factory settings... I even grabbed another Logitech keyboard I had lying around to test it, but I got the exact same issue, which makes me think it isn't a hardware failure since both keyboards work perfectly fine when I plug them into a different PC. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I'd really appreciate the help... weirdly enough, the right Ctrl key is working just fine.

I’m just guessing here, but I’m assuming you’ve got Razer Synapse installed—you know, that software that lets you mess with all the advanced keyboard settings, like remapping keys, setting up macros, and all that stuff. Usually, there are a few different profiles you can swap between depending on what you're doing. I don't actually own a Logitech keyboard myself, so I can't give you the play-by-play, but my best guess is that you accidentally hit some weird key combo that switched your profile. It sounds like whatever profile you landed on has Ctrl+Shift+Esc mapped to your left Ctrl key—which, obviously, just pulls up the Task Manager. Anyway, I'd say just dive into that software and fiddle around with the settings; the fix should be buried in there somewhere.
