Man, I just caught this at the AMC yesterday
it was such a killer movie

so I’m curious, has anyone else seen it yet? What’d you guys think?

This cartoon is an absolute classic. I was rewatching it the other day... some of the scenes hit way harder than you’d expect, and that ending? Total heartbreak. Honestly, nothing but respect for this one.

Look, you have to wait until the kids stop flooding the theaters. Once the crowds thin out, you don't have to deal with that obnoxious, loud-mouthed mob.

The ending really hits me hard. I guess my only issue is that you don't want to start sobbing when that teacher passes away, because once you do, you just can't stop crying.🤣

The movie isn't anything special.
The best part is definitely the line: "Don't tell the monkey!"

It’s been dubbed, too (if anyone knows if they're showing the original version in San Francisco, let me know...) so I'm passing on seeing it in theaters, even though I keep hearing nothing but rave reviews. I'll just find another way to grab a copy, so don't feel bad for me... 🙂

So, two of my buddies and I headed out to the AMC theater the other day... Honestly, the moment I told the cashier we needed three tickets for Kung Fu Panda, I couldn't stop cracking up. Even the woman handing over our tickets was laughing along with us. Once we got inside, though, it was basically just a room full of parents and their kids.

Now, personally, I have a huge soft spot for animation, and I found this one to be incredibly entertaining. Don't go in expecting some heavy, deep philosophical narrative like you might find in those classic Disney or Pixar films from back in the day, but the story feels relatively fresh and it is just plain fun. It was a total blast; the time really flew by for me.

To make matters even more ridiculous, we ended up watching the dubbed version, and honestly? It wasn't bad at all. We were mostly just teasing each other, joking like, "Oh great, now we get to hear Edo's mother voicing the panda..." We were half-expecting to hear some weird regional accents pop up, but surprisingly, the voice acting didn't bother me one bit—though I'm certain Jack Black definitely left his mark on it.

Maybe it doesn't have some massive, tear-jerker backstory, but man, it delivers such a solid, clear message! 👍 Kids are going to love it, but honestly, adults will too 😁
I thought the movie was awesome, though I bet it would’ve hit even harder if I’d caught it on the big screen at an AMC...
Overall, it’s just straightforward, humble, a total blast, and a perfect 10/10 for me 😁

p.s. The beginning actually gave me major Samurai Jack vibes 😳 😍 😁

You definitely need to check this out if you're just looking for some easy entertainment and a way to unwind 😁

Really solid review

A few strangers talked me into it last night, and I fell for it hook, line, and sinker. After the movie 🙂 was over, I was absolutely beaming. We watched the subtitled version at the local AMC.

What age group are we looking at here? Is there anyone around fifteen who actually grew up watching Kung Fu Panda?

I've got more than double that amount. But if it was a hit for my mom (50+), me (30+), and my nephews (10-), then age really doesn't matter.

I'm way older than that—more than double that age, actually... and honestly, thank God, my son and I have sat through pretty much every animated movie they've put out lately. It’s hard not to, because unlike most of the garbage coming out from other studios, their stuff rarely lets us down. Even the voice acting is getting better... rarely any annoying dubbing issues these days.
We went to see Kung Fu Panda at the theater, obviously, and man, we had a blast laughing our heads off. Plus, those trailers before the movie started really made it feel like there's a ton of good animation headed our way soon...

Anyone actually seen this thing yet? I've been on the fence for a month now because I just can't get myself hyped enough 🙄 so if it's worth grabbing off a torrent, let me know.
