Laptop BIOS password help

Toshiba Satellite L500-1R1

The laptop runs fine, hardware seems okay.

The issue is I'm locked out of the BIOS.

Any way to bypass this password? (Keep in mind you can't just pop the battery out here—it's soldered directly to the board, and I don't know how to solder, nor do I want to.)

I saw some videos on YouTube where people jump two pins on the motherboard under the frame with a wire or a flathead screwdriver, but I don't see anything like that on this unit.

(I already tore the whole thing apart thinking I could get to the battery, but since that's a dead end, I'm not touching it again)😁

If anyone knows a fix, let me know.🙂

otherwise, you could always try flashing the BIOS to a newer version if there's an update out there, might just wipe the password right off
