Hey,

Has anyone here actually gone (or is planning to go) to their training sessions over at B&M in Philadelphia?
I’m honestly having a bit of a mental tug-of-war about it—on paper, it sounds absolutely incredible, and the facility itself looks stunning, but the price tag is definitely giving me pause. I'm trying to figure out if it's actually worth the premium or if I'm just being swayed by a fancy atmosphere.

Thanks for any insight you can share 🙂

I went last year, but only for a month because they are way too expensive!
It was actually pretty decent—the instructors are sweet and super approachable—but the price for Pilates is definitely overkill. As if that wasn't enough, they charge you extra for a "pre-Pilates" session—basically 15 or 20 minutes of light stretching with some guy who acts like he's deciding which group you belong in (AND THEY ACTUALLY CHARGE YOU $17 FOR THAT!). Eventually, you just pick the time and group that works for you. Honestly, if nothing else, that assessment should have been free!
I really think you can find much better options in Chicago for that kind of money.

It was actually pretty good—the instructors are nice and easy to talk to—but the price for Pilates is definitely overkill. As if that wasn't enough, they charge you extra for a "pre-Pilates" session where you just stretch around with someone for 15 or 20 minutes so they can figure out which group fits you best (AND THEY ACTUALLY CHARGE YOU $17 FOR THAT!). And the worst part is they don't even give you a formal receipt for what you pay; they just act like they have some little notebook where they jot everything down.
Everything is great until you've been going for more than four months, then you start noticing these weird spikes in cost.
Also, I get the feeling the owners have their own personal issues to work out, because clients end up getting caught in the middle of their drama, and all you get in return are cold stares.
But to be fair, they really do know what they're doing—you can definitely work up a serious sweat during those sessions.
