Login issues

I find myself increasingly vexed by the frequency with which this forum terminates my session; I cannot say precisely how much time elapses before it occurs, but the constant need to re-authenticate my credentials is becoming a genuine irritation, as I feel compelled to log back in "every other minute," if you will. What exactly is the underlying cause of this instability, and is there any possibility of adjusting the settings so that I might remain logged in indefinitely, or at least until I make the conscious decision to sign out myself?

When you log in, just check the box next to remember me.
That way, you won't be getting kicked off—you'll stay logged in until you hit the bottom of the index and decide you're ready to sign out. 😉
