So, I picked up a Logitech MK270 wireless keyboard and mouse combo
but after just a few days, I realized I’ve lost—or more likely, tossed it in the trash without thinking—that little Unifying receiver 🤦
I figured I'd just buy a whole new set, thinking that once this one eventually dies, I could just pair the new gear with the old receiver...
I went back to the same Best Buy, grabbed the exact same model (same product code, identical everything), and I was only a week out from my first purchase
The new set works perfectly with its own receiver, but when I try to get it to talk to the "old" one, absolutely nothing happens. I've checked everything, made sure they're switched on, swapped out the batteries, but... nothing. Zero response. 🙂
How is that even possible? What are they actually coding into these receivers to lock them to a specific keyboard and mouse or what exactly???
A desperate woman
