So, here’s the deal. I’m dealing with this Logitech MK330 wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Everything worked fine right after I set it up, but now there's this issue: once it goes into sleep mode, nothing happens. I tap a key or move the mouse, and it just won't wake up. I never had any of these headaches back when I was using a wired setup 🤷 Even the sleep function itself feels off. When I hit the standby button, the monitor clicks off, but the computer still sounds like it's working too hard. It feels like it used to be much quieter when it was on standby 😕 Any advice?

Go ahead and dig into your Control Panel -> Keyboard -> Hardware tab -> Properties -> Power Management and see if that little box labeled "Allow this device to wake the computer" is actually checked.

Thanks, that did the trick. I guess. Though I still don't really get why it's making noise during standby now. When I was using the wired setup, the PC would just go completely silent, but now some random fan keeps spinning away.😕

Are you absolutely sure about that? Because honestly, there’s zero reason why the PC would start acting up just because you swapped out the keyboard.

I'm not... 🤷 I suppose I'll test it out with a wired connection again. I won't have time until a few days from now, so I'll just post an update here when I can. It makes zero sense to me either, but I guess we'll see.
