I managed to get my hands on a Logitech MX Master 3S keyboard, but I seem to have misplaced the USB dongle somewhere along the way... does anyone happen to know if there is some other method for pairing it with my computer? To be perfectly honest, I am not even entirely sure how the connection process works in the first place, so if anyone could shed some light on this matter, I would truly appreciate it... 🙂

There’s really no other way about it. You might as well just hang the keyboard up on a wall somewhere and call it decor. 🙂

The specs say this keyboard uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection via a nano receiver—so it's wireless, though it doesn't have Bluetooth, unfortunately.

I currently have a Logitech Unifying USB receiver on hand... I was wondering if there's any way I might be able to utilize that for this, or perhaps there is some sort of universal alternative out there that would work? 😢

Of course you can always try—I mean, logically, if they're both running on the 2.4 GHz band, they should technically see each other. But at the same time, I'm a little worried that hardware manufacturers might "lock things down" to force you into buying their specific proprietary dongle just to get their wireless gear—you know, mice, keyboards, and stuff—to actually work together.

Nope, you're out of luck because every single receiver is specifically hardwired for its own device. There's just no such thing as a "one size fits all" universal receiver.
